Shirley was born on August 16, 1935 to the late Orland and Rosa Boggs in Morgantown, West Virginia. She was a member of the Church of God in Waynesburg and had a great passion for sharing the Gospel. Other than her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Curtis M. Pettry, Sr; son, John D. Pettry; brothers, Owen W. Boggs and William "Boogie" Boggs; sisters, Betty Lazzelle and Macel Tolley. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Marlene Keen and Cindy Crallie; sons, Curtis M. Pettry, Jr. and Steven Pettry; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Oentia Cupp, Rosiee Hosier and Ruthie (Denver) Bishop. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Reed Funeral Home Canto Chapel with Rev. Eugene Cupp officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on September 11, 2006.³
