     Helen Doris Presley Helen (Presley) McEntire was born to Leonard (Jack) and Viola Presley in Stockton, California. The youngest of 6 girls, she grew up in Stockton where she met John L. McEntire. They got married in Pecos, Texas in 1964. John's job would take them overseas where they both lived in Doha, Qatar and Aden, Yemen for close to 2 years. They eventually moved to Elko in 1974. She worked various jobs throughout the years and eventually got into collections. She worked for Elko Credit Bureau, Elko Clinic, Elko General Hospital, Nevada Home Health, and worked at home for Nevada Anesthesia Associates and Silver State Anesthesia (H M Bookkeeping) until her retirement in April 2011. Helen enjoyed reading, gardening, fishing, crocheting, spending time with her family, playing the slots, and she also was a huge fan of Elvis. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her older sisters Evelyn Colon, Bernice Bryant, Jean Willis, Betty Williams, and Beverly Usher. She is survived by her husband John McEntire and son Sean McEntire of Elko, as well as countless nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation will be at Burns Funeral Home. As requested by Helen there will be no services.
