     Clyties Junie Shilling was buried at Wimmer, Bohan, Maxie, Shilling Cemetery, Blue Ridge Parkway MP 136 area, Adney Gap, Franklin Co., Virginia.^2,3 She was born on March 29, 1917 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^1,2 As of December 20, 1933,her married name was Wimmer.⁴ She married Harry Thurman Wimmer, son of Norman Lewis Wimmer and Lola May Pendleton, on December 20, 1933 at Callaway, Franklin Co., Virginia.⁴ Clyties Junie Shilling and Harry Thurman Wimmer were divorced on September 2, 1941 at Roanoke, Virginia.⁴ Clyties Junie Shilling died on January 13, 2008 at Virginia at age 90.^2,3 She Clyties W. St.Clair, 90, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 13, 2008. Mrs. St.Clair was the daughter of Andrew Cleveland Shilling and Nancy Richards Shilling. She was retired from Halmode Apparel and was the widow of Emory Wilson St.Clair. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Crowder. Surviving are her children, Barbara Hooper, of Virginia Beach, Thurman Wimmer and wife, Diane, of Moneta, Brenda Sevelle and husband, Chuck, of Tinley Park, Ill., Vernelle Hale and husband, Ken, of Buchanan, Larry St.Clair and wife, Cathy, of Callaway, and Gary St.Clair, of Vinton; 15 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to express special thanks to the caring staff of Berkshire Nursing Home that looked after Mrs. St.Clair for several years. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Wednesday, January 16, 2008, in Oakey's Vinton Chapel with Pastor Robert Mullen officiating. Burial will follow in the Shilling Family Cemetery, Bent Mountain. on January 15, 2008.³

She is survived by two daughters, Joyce (Samantha) Flanary of Roanoke and Ruth Wimmer Cox and husband, John Cox of Lexington, North Carolina; one son, Ron Wimmer of Atlanta, Georgia; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Shirley will be greatly missed by all. She touched the lives of many people and was loved by all. Her spirit will live on through her family and those who knew her. on March 15, 2002.⁷

     Richard David Wright Sr. was born on June 13, 1945 at High Point, Guilford Co., North Carolina.¹ He married Shirley Ann Wimmer, daughter of Harry Thurman Wimmer and Nellie Mae Campbell, on January 8, 1966 at Danville, Virginia.^1,3 Richard David Wright Sr. married Shirley Ann Wimmer, daughter of Harry Thurman Wimmer and Nellie Mae Campbell, on January 8, 1986 at Broward Co., Florida.² Richard David Wright Sr. died on May 9, 2011 at age 65.

     Victor Cedric Barrington Jr. was buried at McLucas Cemetery, Clio, Marlboro Co., South Carolina.^2,3 He was born on November 19, 1926 at Clio, Marlboro Co., South Carolina.^1,4,2 He married Shirley Ann Wimmer, daughter of Harry Thurman Wimmer and Nellie Mae Campbell, on September 22, 1956 at Frederick Co., Virginia.¹ Victor Cedric Barrington Jr. died on October 30, 2008 at Clio, Marlboro Co., South Carolina, at age 81.^4,2,3 He CLIO -- Services for Mr. Victor C. Barrington, Jr., 81, will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Clio. The interment will follow in McLucas Cemetery. He died October 30, 2008, at his home. Born in Marlboro County, he was the son of Victor C. and Cheves Easterling Barrington, Sr. He retired from Oak River Mills after 35 years of service. He had served in the U.S. Army. A devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Clio for many years, he served as a deacon, trustee, Sunday school teacher and financial secretary. He was also an active member of the Masonic Aurora Lodge #33 where he was a PM. He also served as PDDGM of the 25th Masonic District, past Grand Lodge Education Committee, and Grand Rep from GL SC to the Grand Lodge of the Dominican Republic. He is survived by: wife, Betty M. Barrington of Clio; daughters, Mary A. Barrington, Martha B. Hodge, both of Bennettsville, and Rhonda B. Morris (Jody) of Columbia; sons, Victor Leon Barrington (Lisa) of Clio and Robert D. Barrington (Cheryl) of Boone, NC; sister, Cheves B. Hilton of Allen, TX; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. on November 1, 2008.³

Mrs. Hooper was born June 29, 1935, in Franklin County, Va. She attended Andrew Lewis High School in Salem, Va., and then worked in the meat department at A & P Food Stores and retired after 35 years. Mrs. Hooper was an avid bingo player and loved traveling, especially enjoying her trips to Las Vegas. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Brian W. Huffman and David L. Huffman; siblings, Thurman Wimmer and wife, Diane, of Moneta, Va., Brenda Saville and husband, Charles, of Chicago, Ill., Vernell Hale and husband, Kenneth, of Buchanan, Va., Gary St.Clair, of Goodview, Va., and Larry St.Clair and wife, Cathy, of Franklin County, Va; grandchildren, Matthew, Alyssa, Rachel, Kristina, and Harley Huffman; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Hooper; father, Harry Thurman Wimmer; mother, Clyties Shilling St.Clair; and sister, Dorothy Crowder. A graveside service will be conducted 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2009, in Princess Anne Memorial Park by the Rev. Jerry Holcomb. on June 10, 2009.⁴

     Charles Edward Hooper was buried at Princess Anne Memorial Park, 1110 N. Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia.^5,3 He was born on February 7, 1935 at Clarksburg, Harrison Co., West Virginia.^1,3 He married Barbara Ann Wimmer, daughter of Harry Thurman Wimmer and Clyties Junie Shilling, on August 3, 1974 at Virginia Beach, Virginia.^1,2 Charles Edward Hooper died on December 30, 1992 at Virginia Beach, Virginia, at age 57.^3,4 He Charles Edward Hooper, 57, of the 500 block of Highpoint Ave., died Dec. 30, 1992, in a Virginia Beach hospital. Mr. Hooper was born in Clarksburg, W.Va. He was a meat cutter at Super Fresh, Hilltop, and was a member of Fleet Reserve Association and Local 400 Meatcutters Union. He was a Navy veteran of Korea and Vietnam, retiring after 21 years. Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Hooper; a daughter, Cheryl Workman of Clarksburg; three sons, Gary W. Hooper of Clarksburg, David E. Hooper of Tulsa, Okla., and Richard C. Hooper of Charlottesville, Va; his father, Frank E. Hooper of Bridgeport, W.Va; two stepsons, Brian W. Huffman of Virginia Beach and David L. Huffman of Las Vegas, Nev; nine grandchildren; a brother; and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his mother, the late Helen Hooper. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Princess Anne Memorial Park by the Rev. Jerry Holcomb. on January 3, 1993.³
