Memorial services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Pleasant Hill Cemetery, north of Leona; military honors following. Visitation: half an hour prior to services at the cemetery. on July 18, 2009.³

     Lawrence F. “Larry” Moore was buried at Canaday Cemetery, Glen White, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.² His Social Security Number was 577-62-6851.⁴ He was born on July 9, 1947 at Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^2,3,5,4 He died on October 31, 1973 at Wilmington, New Castle Co., Delaware, at age 26.^2,3,4,5 He Larry F. Moore, 26, of New Castle, Del, formerly of Beckley, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday in a Wilmington, Del., hospital after a short illness. Born July 9, 1947 in Raleigh County, he was a son of Lawrence and Helen Canaday Moore of New Castle, Del. Moore was an employe of General Motors Corp. in Wilmington. Additional survivors include two brothers, Vernon of Anchorage, Alaska, and Richard of Wilmington, Del., and a sister, Mrs. Karen League of Springfield, Va. The body is being returned to the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. on November 1, 1973.³

     David Berman Mills was buried at Mills Cemetery, Soak Creek, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.¹ He was born on October 5, 1944 at Soak Creek, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^1,4 He married Betty Jean Whitt on May 29, 1964 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.² David Berman Mills died on March 27, 2017 at West Virginia at age 72.¹ He David Berman Mills, 72, of Sophia, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017. Born October 5, 1944, he was the son of the late Clayton and Mozetta Richardson Mills. David attended the Sophia 1st Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trading. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mills; brothers, Jack K. Mills, James Ray Mills; sister, Margaret Ann McPherson. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, David Mills; brother, Jimmy Mills; grandchildren, Barry Hodges, Dana Mills, Phillip Hodges; great-grandchildren, Colin Hodges, Mia Hodges; also several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Beckley. Burial will follow at Mills Cemetery, Soak Creek WV. on March 30, 2017.¹
