Beverly Ann Belcher Beveryl Ann Belcher (58), of Winston-Salem, NC passed away unexpectedly in her home on May 11, 2020. Beverly was born April 28th, 1962 in Princeton, WV, and was the daughter of the late Calvin Belcher Jr. and Peggy Belcher of Asheboro, NC, both formerly of Princeton, WV. She is survived by her daughter, Tara Lynn Hallick and husband, Stephen, of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandson, Stevie Hallick; mother, Peggy Belcher of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Vickie Farmer and husband Mike of Asheboro, NC; Amy Parady of Houston, TX, as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Beverly was an extremely talented artist and was known for her comedic personality. She had a special love for animals and her beloved dog, Roxie.2 She was born on April 28, 1962 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.2 She died on May 11, 2020 at Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co., North Carolina, at age 58.2

Marie "Mary" Giardina was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.1,5 She was born on November 4, 1926 at Manhattan, New York Co., New York.1,5,3 As of October, 1948,her married name was Chatting.1 She married Floyd Judas Chatting, son of William Horace Chatting and Virgie Mary Thorne, in October, 1948 at Manhattan, New York Co., New York.1,2,4 Marie "Mary" Giardina died on February 2, 2019 at West Virginia at age 92.1,5 She Mary Chatting, aged 92, was called home to God on February 2, 2019 while in the care of hospice staff. She passed away peacefully and painlessly surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on November 4, 1926 in New York City. She was the daughter of Italian parents-Serafino and Guiseppa Giardina-who arrived via Ellis Island, New York. As one of eight children, she was raised in New York's Little Italy. In October of 1948, Mary married WWII combat naval veteran, Floyd Chatting. Together they raised a son, Keith. In 1956, she moved to Connecticut with her family before retiring with her husband to Princeton, West Virginia in 1990. Floyd preceded Mary in death in 1996 and she lived independently in Princeton for about eighteen years. While in Princeton, Mary was a devote member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and dedicated much of her time to prayer and friendships. In 2014, Mary moved to an assisted living facility in Tamarac, Florida to be closer to her son. She adapted quickly and submerged herself into new friendships and experiences. She had an infectious personality and touched the lives of all, leaving a lasting impression of kindness and humor. Her wit was quick to induce a smile. Mary is survived by her brother, Alfred; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Jill Chatting; four grandchildren, Reed, Erica, Taylor, and Josh and his wife, Tabitha; and one great grandson, Josh. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will miss her tremendously. Mary will be laid to rest alongside her late husband at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia. on February 5, 2019.1

Perry Walter York was buried at Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, Virginia.3 He was born on September 24, 1924 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.2 He married Zelphia Marie Chatting, daughter of William Horace Chatting and Virgie Mary Thorne, on July 4, 1945 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.1 Perry Walter York died on October 21, 2014 at Virginia at age 90.3 He Perry W. York, widower of Margaret Kiser York, passed away on October 21, 2014 after a brief illness. P.W. was born, raised and educated in Princeton, West Virginia. P.W. retired in 1984 from the C & O Railroad with 41 years of service. He moved to Newport News in 1952 after being transferred from Hinton, WVA and then met the love of his life. Thru the years he also worked part-time with the Newport News Shipyard and Maida Development. He also taught Red Cross CPR to railroad personnel and other groups around the Peninsula; his most enjoyable was teaching the Nuns from Mary Immaculate Hospital. Thru the years P.W. and Margaret enjoyed fishing and camping on the Chickahominy River and Cape Hatteras, NC, and for over 20 years from October to May, they enjoyed living in Altoona, FL where there were over 100 lakes and the St. John's River. P.W. was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Margaret Kiser York; his sons, Danny York and Craig Williams; his parents, J.W. and Sallie York; brother, Paul York; nephew, Gary Phillips and brother-in-law, J.C. Phillips all of WVA. P.W. is survived by his daughter and fiance, Karrin Williams Frankie (Joe Dickson) of Newport News; his daughter-in-law, Marsha Williams of Hampton; sister-in-law, Thelma Kiser of Williamsburg; grandson, Phillip Williams (Michelle McMillian) and granddaughter, Tammie Williams all of Newport News, and granddaughter Candice Hanley (LaMar) of Richmond; two great-granddaughters of Newport News, and two great-grandsons of Richmond; his sister, Beatrice Phillips of Beckley, WVA; brother, Paris York and nephew Mike York of Harrison, VA, and nephews Von York of Beckley, WVA, George Patrick, Jody and Tracy York all of Princeton, WVA; brother Ben York of Lynchburg; niece Michelle Davidson of Lynchburg, niece June Copper of Princeton, WVA, and nephew Randy Phillips of New Mexico. A graveside service will be held at Peninsula Memorial Park. on October 26, 2014.3

He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Betty Williams Fowler; daughters, Linda Fowler Shahzad and Karen F. Mandeville, both of Princeton, and Sharon F. O'Connor of King, N.C; three granddaughters, Jennifer Mandeville, Julie Mandeville, and Megan O'Connor; grandsons, Alexander Shahzad and Jonathan O’Connor.
