     Gregory Stevenson Allen was buried at West End Cemetery, Wytheville, Wythe Co., Virginia.³ He was born on August 11, 1950 at Radford, Virginia.^5,6 He married Diane Louise Stockton on April 7, 1973 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.^3,6 Gregory Stevenson Allen died on February 15, 2002 at Wythe Co., Virginia, at age 51.^3,4 He ALLEN, Gregory Stevenson, 51, of Max Meadows, beloved husband of Diane Stockton Allen for 28 years went from the care of his loved ones into the care of his Lord on Friday, February 15, 2002. He was preceded in death by his father, Delmer Allen; his sister, Sally Farrier; his brother, Kimberly Allen and his brother, Geoffrey Allen. Gregory died at home after an extended illness. In addition to his wife, he is survived by and mourned by his mother, Marjorie Allen; his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kristy Allen; his daughter, Sarah Allen; his sisters-in-law, Rebecca Allen and Deborah Allen; his brother, Terry Allen; and his brother-in-law, Marty Farrier. Others who will miss Greg greatly are his parents-in-law, Edgar and Edith Stockton; his sisters-in-law and their husbands, Carol and Donald Mackinder and Sandra and Harley Easter; his brother-in-law and his wife, Glenn and Penny Stockton; his dedicated caretakers, Ann Correll and Inez Akers; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wished to express its gratitude to the nurses and caretakers at Virginia's Home Health and Hospice Care of Rural Retreat. Gregory was a graduate of Virginia Tech and taught agriculture in Frederick County and in Bath County. He was building fund treasurer and former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Millboro, Va. where he also actively helped build its addition; and in recent years he has been a member of First Baptist Church in Hillsville where services will be held Sunday, February 17, 2002 at 2 p.m. and will be conducted by the Rev. Steve Stephenson. Interment will follow at the West End Cemetery in Wytheville. on February 19, 2002.³

     Geoffrey Lynn Allen Sr. was buried at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 4921 Harmony Highway, Hamptonville, Yadkin Co., North Carolina.² He was born on March 10, 1954 at Radford, Virginia.^8,3,4,5 He married Sheree Diane Chafin on September 22, 1972 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.³ Geoffrey Lynn Allen Sr. and Sheree Diane Chafin were divorced on January 20, 1981 at Giles Co., Virginia.⁴ Geoffrey Lynn Allen Sr. married Vivian Lee Barber on March 12, 1982 at Giles Co., Virginia.³ Geoffrey Lynn Allen Sr. and Vivian Lee Barber were divorced on June 6, 1995 at Giles Co., Virginia.⁴ Geoffrey Lynn Allen Sr. married Deborah Jolene Binkley on December 14, 1996 at Giles Co., Virginia.^2,3 Geoffrey Lynn Allen Sr. died on July 7, 2000 at Newport, Giles Co., Virginia, at age 46.^2,8 He ALLEN, Geoffrey Lynn, Sr., 46, of Newport, died at his home Friday, July 7, 2000, after a long illness. Born in Radford on March 10, 1954, he was a son of Majorie Stevenson Allen of Newport and the late Delmer Lee Allen. As a young man he was baptized in the fellowship of Newport Christian Church. He earned his living as a trucker and was proud of the many awards he had won for safe driving. He was preceded in death by a sister, Salley Allen Farrier; and a brother, Kimberly Robert Allen. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Binkley Allen of Newport; his mother, Majorie S. Allen of Newport; his sons and daughter-in-law, Geoffrey L. Allen, Jr. and wife, Shannon Eaton Allen of Pembroke, and Joshua Scott Allen of Vail, Colorado; stepson, James W. Phipps, Jr. of Advance, N. C; stepdaughter, Jansen Vick of Mocksville, N. C; two brothers, Gregory S. Allen of Max Meadows and Terry Lee Allen of Newport; two uncles, Glenn W. Allen of Pearisburg and W. Wallace Stevenson of Phoenix, Ariz; a stepgrandson, Justin B. Phipps of Advance, N. C; and his first wife and mother of his children, Sheree C. Davis of Pembroke; and a special friend, Mike Furrow of Newport. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 10, 2000 at 10 a.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke with the Rev. Jean Findley officiating. Graveside services will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamptonville, N. C. at 3 p.m. on July 9, 2000.²

Funeral services will be held at the Newport-Mt. Olivet Methodist Church, Newport at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 23 with the Rev. William Marcellino of Newport-Mt. Olivet Methodist Church and Father Harry B. Scott, III of St. Peters Anglican Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Ross Cemetery, Craig County. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospices of Blacksburg, Newport Volunteer Fire Department or the Huntington's Disease Society of America. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.      Terry Lee Allen was buried at Newport Cemetery, Newport, Giles Co., Virginia.² He was born on March 19, 1958 at Radford, Virginia.^2,4,5 He married Trina Alesia Porterfield on August 6, 1983 at Blacksburg, Virginia.⁵ Terry Lee Allen and Trina Alesia Porterfield were divorced on June 15, 2000 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.⁶ Terry Lee Allen married Sabrina Gaye Clemson on June 21, 2003 at Pulaski Co., Virginia.⁵ Terry Lee Allen died on November 18, 2013 at Blacksburg, Virginia, at age 55.² He Terry Lee Allen, 55, of Robin Street, Christiansburg, died peacefully early Monday morning, November 18, 2013, at Heritage Hall, in Blacksburg, Va., following a courageous battle with Huntington's disease. Born on March 19, 1958, at Radford, he was the son of the late Delmar Allen and Marjorie Stephenson Allen. Due to his health, Terry retired from the Maintenance Department as Supervisor of Roofer for Virginia Tech after many years of faithful service to the school. In his spare time, Terry loved to ride his motorcycle, especially riding alongside his wife, Sabrina. Terry truly enjoyed traveling, in a drop of a moment, his bags were packed and ready to go, whether it was on land or water, he never missed an opportunity to see the world. Terry was a people person and one that never liked to miss a meal; he enjoyed food and having his Dr. Pepper. He was a member of Harbor Hope Pentecostal Church in Christiansburg. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by all of his siblings: Gregory, Geoffrey, Kimberly Allen and Sally Farrier. Services to celebrate the life of Terry Allen will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013, at Harbor of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church in Christiansburg with Pastor Richard Kingrea and Pastor Roger Henderson officiating. A time of gathering and sharing will be held Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Harbor of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Newport Cemetery at Newport. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jackson Thorn, Cody Clemson, Bobby Owens, Pete Smith, Kevin Shrader and Trent Chinault. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Hale, Roger Wimmer, Johnny Fitts, Chris Stevers, Duke Sarver, Danny Sowers and Dwight "Digger" Shelor. on November 20, 2013.²

     Mary Masel "Frances" Johnston was buried at Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.² She was born on June 17, 1923 at Trigg, Giles Co., Virginia.^2,3,5 She married Glen Winfred Allen, son of Mode Lee Allen and Ida Mae Hines, on August 14, 1948 at Trigg, Giles Co., Virginia.^1,2 As of August 14, 1948,her married name was Allen.¹ Mary Masel "Frances" Johnston died on March 21, 2012 at Blacksburg, Virginia, at age 88.^2,5,4 She Mary Masel "Frances" Johnston Allen, 88 of Pearisburg, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in Blacksburg. She is rejoicing in heaven with her lifelong friend and husband, Glen W. Allen, her parents, Shuler and Masel Johnston, and two brothers, James and Clinton Johnston. Mrs. Allen was born in Trigg, graduated from Eggleston High School, then Radford College and began teaching in the Giles County School System in 1947. Her love for teaching and for her students continued her whole life. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg, serving in the Choir and other church groups. She will be greatly missed by two daughters, Mary Glenn and husband, Jack McCall, of Pembroke and Joyce and husband, Larry Marion, of Pearisburg; three grandchildren, Kristi and husband, Jason Porter, David and wife, Kelley McCall, Lori and husband, Eric Shannon; great-grandchildren, Layla, Jaden, Parker, Audya, Scarlett; one sister, Alva J. Lucas, of Blacksburg; and four sisters-in-law, Carolyn Johnston, of Blacksburg, Georgia Allen, of Jonesville, Bobbi Johnston, of Roanoke and Marge Allen, of Blacksburg. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg, with Dr. Brad Scott and Dr. Fred L. Austin, officiating with entombment following in the Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church on Saturday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. before the service. The family would like to thank the staff of Kroontje Health Care Center who lovingly cared for Frances. on March 23, 2012.²

     Georgia Irene Alder was buried at Lee Memorial Gardens, 1986 Hickory Circle Road, Pennington Gap, Lee Co., Virginia.² She Georgia Irene Allen, 89, of Jonesville, VA passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018. She was born in Sneedville, TN on October 14, 1928 to the late Abijah and Quinnie Sarah (Trent) Alder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emmit Allen; daughter, Brenda Allen; sister, Wilma Lucas; and a brother, Wendell Alder. Georgia was a 1948 graduate of Jonesville High School. She worked in the Lee County Courthouse for over 40 years as a legal secretary, and she was a member of Bolling’s Chapel Methodist Church. She is survived by two brothers, Glen Alder and Abijah “Mitch” Alder Jr., both of Cincinnati, OH; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19, in Lee Memorial Gardens, Woodway, VA. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery for services.² She was born on October 14, 1928 at Sneedville, Hancock Co., Tennessee.^1,2 As of July 29, 1951,her married name was Allen.¹ She married Emmett William Allen, son of Mode Lee Allen and Ida Mae Hines, on July 29, 1951 at Big Stone Gap, Wise Co., Virginia.^1,2 Georgia Irene Alder died on September 14, 2018 at Virginia at age 89.²
