Mr. Lanegan, who was born in Lewistown, Mont., died Sunday. The family lived on a wheat farm in Suffolk, Mont., before moving to a dairy farm in Valley View, Mont., in 1943. He attended a rural school, then two years of high school in Polson, Mont., before graduating high school at Ronan, Mont., in 1953. He enlisted in the Marine Corps 1953 and trained at Camp Pendleton, Calif., re-enlisted in 1956 and was discharged later that year and served in the Marine Corps Reserve until 1961. Mr. Lanegan held positions with three oil companies during his years in the Reserve in and around Barstow, Calif. He enlisted in the Navy in 1961, trained as a draftsman, and was stationed at Key West, Fla., on the submarine tender USS Bushnell. He served under President John F. Kennedy during the Cuban Crisis. One of his fondest memories was shaking hands with the president at the White House at the completion of his draftsman training. The USS Bushnell was ordered to Rota, Spain, where Mr. Lanegan was injured in the line of duty in an auto accident in 1965. He was released to inactive duty in 1965. He spent the next 40 years in a wheelchair, living a short time in Veterans Affairs facilities and nursing homes before his primary care and home was given to his parents, then his brother, Patrick, and finally his sister, Barbara. He enjoyed baseball, fishing, bowling, rodeos, traveling and watching Lawrence Welk and "Jeopardy." Survivors include his mother, Ethel; two brothers, Terry of New Bern, N.C., and Patrick of Spokane; four sisters Carol Rodriquez of Flagstaff, Ariz., Bonnie Kozminski of Scottsdale, Ariz., Barbara McAdams of Spokane and Linda Lanegan of Kent, Wash. on February 24, 2005.5

Mrs. Wolfe, who died Sunday, was born in Lewistown, Mont. Her family moved from Lewistown to Polson, Mont., where she graduated from high school in 1955. After finishing high school, she received a diploma in secretarial science from Kinman Business University in 1956. She married Dell Wolfe in 1957, and the couple made their home in Spokane later that year. Mrs. Wolfe established a tax consulting business in 1980 and became an enrolled agent of the Internal Revenue Service. She was a member of the National Society of Public Accountants, Washington Association of Accountants and the Spokane Chapter of Washington Association of Accountants. She chaired two committees and served as a member on various other committees in the WAA. In 1997 Mrs. Wolfe sold her business and retired. She was involved with the production and development of her own home decor items and taught herself tole painting. Her hobbies included gardening, flower arranging and various crafts. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Steven and Brian Wolfe, and her mother, Ethel Lanegan, all of Spokane; seven siblings and six grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Union Gospel Mission. on September 23, 2004.4

     Gerald Ray Gibbons After a long illness, Gerald Ray Gibbons passed away on Saturday at the age of 49. He was a native of Washington state and graduated from North Mason High School in Belfair. He was born July 16, 1962 in Bremerton. He was pre-deceased by his mother, Sharon Gibbons, and his infant brother, Gordon. He is survived by his father, Douglas Gibbons; his brothers, Gary and Tom; his daughter, Reanna; and family members who live as nearby as Bremerton and Spokane, and as far away as Arizona, North Carolina, and Argentina. Gerald (called Ray by his father) is also survived by his beloved companion, Shadow, a sweet-natured cat he rescued more than 17 years ago. He was a kind-hearted and generous man who loved animals and the outdoors. A fine fisherman and carpenter, he spent many years working in the forest industry. He also enjoyed collecting chanterelle mushrooms that he would then add to his famous spaghetti sauce with bite-sized meatballs. He preferred cooking from scratch and loved to barbecue ribs and chicken and salmon, and bake banana bread, and brew blueberry beer and wine. Gerald's presence was larger than life, and he will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.2 He was buried at Twin Firs Cemetery, 700 NE Sand Hill Road, Belfair, Mason Co., Washington.3 He was born on July 16, 1962 at Bremerton, Kitsap Co., Washington.3 He died on February 25, 2012 at Marysville, Snohomish Co., Washington, at age 49.1,3

They farmed, carpentered, served as janitors at the Church and helped in the school at Fort Benton until Bob's passing in 2007 when Frances moved back. Frances is survived by two sisters Delores L. Melik of Hilger, MT and Amanda B. Cecrle of Lewistown, MT; two brothers Thomas W. Arthur and Homer L. Arthur; one sister-in-law Cherry Arthur all of Hilger, MT several nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her husband in 2007, her parents and one brother James E. Funeral Services for Frances A. Peterson will be held Monday, September 12th at 10:00 a.m. in the Cloyd Chapel with interment to be at 3:30 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery in Fort Benton, MT. on September 9, 2016.3
