Alton was a long time member of Topeco Church of the Brethren. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice of Salem for their caring support over the past few months. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Topeco Church of the Brethren, officiated by the Rev. Mike Varner, and grandson/Youth Pastor Ricky Vest Jr. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Topeco Cemetery.
