Before retirement, she had worked for Dr. Morelli and for Bell Telephone in Ludlow. She was a member of Moriah Lutheran Church and had been active with Vacation Bible School. She belonged to the Wildcat Park Auxiliary, the Ludlow V. F. D. Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a Judge of Elections for Hamilton Twp., and had been a member of the Apple Cider Squaredancers. She also had been involved with the Kane Area Little League, the Girl Scouts and the Cub Scouts. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three children, Terry Walters of Ludlow, Judith Bennett of Kane and Michael Walters of Ludlow; 12 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; six sisters, Marie Cullen of Warren, Patricia Mistretta of Russell, Nancy Babcock of Port Allegany, Josephine Fitzsimmons of Port Allegany, Emily Pesock of Turtlepoint and Donna Dugener in Texas; three brothers, Robert Klawuhn of Cyclone, Ronald Klawuhn of Bradford and Wayne Homell of Port Allegany; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rodger Walters; a sister Sandra Mericle; and three brothers, Jack Klawuhn, Charles Homell Jr., and Richard Klawuhn. Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at noon at Moriah Lutheran Church in Ludlow with The Rev. Donald Costlow, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Gibbs Hill Cemetery. on May 11, 2009.²
