Joyce worked as a nurse’s aide for ten years at the Franklin Hospital. She also worked at Kings Restaurant in Reno. Joyce had a passion for animals, enjoyed reading books about Native American Indians, and collecting lighthouses. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Best of Cranberry; two brothers, Walter Best and his wife Barb of Emlenton, and Kenneth Best and his wife Louise of Oil City; two sisters-in-law, Theresa Best and Sandra Kysor; an aunt, Charlotte Thiess of San Leandro, California; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Armand; and two sisters, Vicki and Joan. There will be no visitation or funeral service held. Private interment will be in the Callensburg Cemetery, Clarion County. on April 6, 2018.

Ms. Resinger enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends, and her dog, JoJo. Surviving are her mother, Patricia Best of Franklin; two daughters; Diane Walker and husband Sammy of Tampa, Florida, and Patricia Sibble and husband Delbert of Franklin; two grandchildren, Sammy Walker, Jr. of Tampa, and Roberta Sue Sibble of Franklin; three step-grandchildren, Carrie Sibble and Timothy Sibble, both of Grove City, and Chester Sibble of Franklin; three brothers, Kenneth Best and wife Louise of Oil City, Ronald Best and wife Theresa of Erie, and Walter Best and wife Barbara of Emlenton; a sister, Joyce Best of Franklin; and her companion of twenty-five years, George Gardner of Meadville. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her father, Orval Best; a brother, Armond Best; and a sister, Joan Irwin. Friends will be received Wednesday (May 2nd) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Thursday (May 3rd) at 11 a.m., with Rev. Gary Small, pastor of the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church, officiating. Mr. Sherrill is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Alma Dell Sherrill; children and spouses, William Jr. and Jennifer Sherrill of Davidson, Laura Sherrill and Terence Wesley-Smith of Kaneohe, HI, Doreen and Stephen Kowalczyk of Lake Wiley, SC and Randy and Mary Lisa Sherrill of Gastonia; grandchildren, William Sherrill, III, Kate Sherrill, Ian Wesley-Smith, Brendan Wesley-Smith, Krista Kowalczyk and David Kowalczyk; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Beatrice Sherrill of Dunwoody, GA; numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral for Mr. Sherrill beginning at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 9 in the Chapel of First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. John L.
