     Rebecca Faye Sibold was buried at Orchard Cemetery, Ballard, Monroe Co., West Virginia.² She Rebecca Faye, two and a half day old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sibold of Ballard died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1971, in the University Medical Center, Morgantown. Surviving, in addition to the parents, are a brother, Dewey Wayne Sibold, at home; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Sibold of Peterstown; and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arch Spangler. Jr., of Ballard. Funeral services were conducted the following Tuesday afternoon in the First Missonary Baptist Church of Ballard with the Rev. Kelly Bane officiating. Burial followed in the Orchard Cemetery at Ballard.⁴ She was born on September 17, 1971 at West Virginia.² She died on September 19, 1971 at Morgantown, Monongalia Co., West Virginia.^2,3,4

     Bernice Virginia Conner was born circa 1916 at Ballard, Monroe Co., West Virginia.^2,3 As of June 30, 1933,her married name was Conley.⁴ She married Dillard Taylor Conley on June 30, 1933 at Welch, McDowell Co., West Virginia.^4,6 As of May 1, 1950,her married name was Burton.³ Bernice Virginia Conner married Clifford Paul Burton on May 1, 1950 at Wytheville, Wythe Co., Virginia.³

     Clifford Paul Burton was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, Bastian, Bland Co., Virginia.^6,7 His Social Security Number was 223-16-4713.⁸ He was born on April 16, 1919 at Chapel, Giles Co., Virginia.^{1,2,8,9,3,5,7} He married Bernice Virginia Conner, daughter of Frank Dempster Conner and Ada Bell/Belle Pruett, on May 1, 1950 at Wytheville, Wythe Co., Virginia.¹ Clifford Paul Burton died on May 18, 1996 at Narrows, Giles Co., Virginia, at age 77.^9,8,4,7 He Burton, Clifford Paul, 77, of Route 2, Narrows, died Saturday, May 18, 1996, at his residence on Wolf Creek. A lifelong resident of Giles County, he was born on April 16, 1919, and was the son of the late James M. and Clara French Burton. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Peyton Burton and Perry Burton, and a sister, Olivia Warner. He was a veteran of World War II, and was a retired employee of the Hoechst/Celanese Fibers Company plant at Narrows. He is survived by his wife, Inez B. Burton of Narrows; a stepdaughter, Pamela Stephens of Rich Creek, and a stepgranddaughter, Mecalla Stephens of Rich Creek. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Bastian. on May 20, 1996.⁷

She was born in Rocky Gap, Va. on April 23, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Dillard and Bernice Conner Conley. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jacob Conley Havens. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a faithful, lifelong member of the Rocky Gap United Methodist Church, member of the United Methodist Women and church choir. She lovingly took on everyone's burdens, including God's creatures, great and small. In addition to her loving husband of 61 years, Glen, she will be cherished by two daughters, Cyndy Tolbert and Dee Dee Smith and husband Steve; three sons, Tim, Mike, and Chris Harless and wife Andrea; seven grandchildren, Josh Havens and wife Kari, Jordan Havens, Heather and Hope Harless, Eric and Tyler Harless, and Jamie Tolbert; four great-grandchildren, Breana, Dylan, Jacob and Jaxon. Graveside services will be held at Boyd Cemetery, Narrows, Va. on December 28, 2012.⁴

     Glen Douglas Harless was born on June 26, 1931 at Bland Co., Virginia.^1,2,3 He married Shirley Ann Conley, daughter of Dillard Taylor Conley and Bernice Virginia Conner, on December 24, 1951 at Narrows, Giles Co., Virginia.^1,4 Glen Douglas Harless died on March 31, 2010 at Huntington, Cabell Co., West Virginia, at age 78.⁵

     Dorothy Marie Wyrick was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^2,4,3 She was born on January 12, 1935 at McDowell Co., West Virginia.^1,2,4 As of November 9, 1964,her married name was Conner.¹ She married Harold Dempster Conner, son of Frank Dempster Conner and Ada Bell/Belle Pruett, on November 9, 1964 at Arlington, Virginia.^1,2,3 Dorothy Marie Wyrick died on November 6, 1968 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 33.^2,4 She Mrs. Dorothy Harris Conner, 33, of Princeton died Wednesday in a Bluefield hospital after a long illness. Born in McDowell County, she was the daughter of Mrs. Emma Gentry Wyrick and the late James Walter Wyrick. She was a licensed practical nurse and a member of Matoaka Methodist Church. She had lived in Princeton for two years after moving from Arlington, Va. Survivors include her husband Harold Conner of Princeton; one daughter, Terry Leigh Harris, of the home; one sister, Mrs. Connie Baker of Carson, Miss; two brothers, Roger Wyrick of Brunswick, Ohio and Allen Wyrick of Princeton. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. on November 8, 1968.³

     Thomas Richard "Tom" Kitts Thomas Richard Kitts, 72, of Amarillo died July 5, 2019. Private family interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Thomas was born January 15, 1947 in Washington, D.C. to Bill and Beatrice Kitts. He was the oldest of 4 siblings. He grew up in Falls Church, VA and later moved to Houston, TX his senior year when his Dad accepted a job with NASA. Tom graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1966. He attended the University of Houston until he was drafted by the Army in 1971 during the Vietnam War. After 2 years of service in Heidelberg, Germany he returned to attend Lamar University to complete a degree in Geology. After college, he worked as a Wireline Engineer and then a Sales Engineer for Schlumberger. In the late 80’s Tom achieved the positon of Vice President of British Plaster Board. Later he worked in the natural gas side of the energy industry before retiring with CSI as Senior Sales Engineer in 2015. Tom married Terri Susan Shoemaker August 1, 1986 in Amarillo, TX. He was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church and later attended Hillside Christian Church every Sunday at 8:15. He was involved in many professional oil and gas organizations: SPWLA-Society of Professional Well Log Analyists, AAPG-Associaton of Petroleum Geologists, PPROA-Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owners Association, SPE-Society of Petroleum Engineers (scholarship chairman), API-American Petroleum Institute, Gas Compressor Institute in Liberal, KS and PIE-Petroleum Industry Education. In his spare time, Tom enjoyed skiing, hunting, playing/watching soccer, riding bicycles in Palo Duro Canyon, taking his dog to the park, and was a motorcycle enthusiast. He even had the nick name “Moto Doctor” for his talent of fixing almost anything in the garage. He loved spending time at the lake and on the slopes with family and friends where he was known for his great sense of humor and quick wit. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Survivors include his wife Terri Kitts; three children and their spouses Tod and Teri Kitts, Kheli and Joe Harless, Trevor and Meghan Kitts all of Amarillo; seven grandchildren: Damian, Braydon, Ryan, Ashlin, Casey, Tori, and Malorie; a sister, Donna Robinson and Husband Ken of Dripping Springs, TX; numerous nieces and a nephew; and his faithful Chocolate Lab Tank.² He was buried at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 14200 Interstate 27, Amarillo, Randall Co., Texas.² He was born on January 15, 1947 at Washington, D.C..² He married Wanda Anne Fodrin on May 16, 1971 at Harris Co., Texas.⁵ Thomas Richard "Tom" Kitts and Wanda Anne Fodrin were divorced on May 2, 1983 at Potter Co., Texas.⁶ Thomas Richard "Tom" Kitts married Terri Susan Shoemaker on August 1, 1986 at Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas.² Thomas Richard "Tom" Kitts died on July 5, 2019 at Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas, at age 72.²
