Mr. Wheelbarger served his country in the Army Air Force and was stationed at Hickam Field, HI during World War II. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Company. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wheelbarger was predeceased by his wife, Edna Helmintoller, their son Phillip Wheelbarger, Sr. and grandson Phillip Wheelbarger, Jr. Survivors include 3 great grand-daughters, Alyssa, Olivia, and Mayce and their mother Amanda, all of PA; and several loving nieces and nephews, Robin W. Surviving are three sons, Bernard, Route 1, Oak Hill; Clayburn W., Amarillo, Tex. and Robert T., Akron, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Arlene F. Epperly, Mount Hope; a brother, Oather, Oak Hill; a sister, Mrs. Lena Burton, Richmond, Va; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, with the Rev. C. S. Donnelly in charge. Burial will be in High Lawn Memorial Park. on March 16, 1973.³
