Born October 25, 1957, at Montgomery, WV, she was the daughter of Lessie V. Elmore Comer of Fayetteville, WV, and the late Franklin D. Comer. She was a homemaker. In addition to her mother, Jeanie is survived by her husband, Keith Pack, one daughter, Amanda Williams of Fayetteville, one brother, Franklin Allen Comer and wife, Sandy, of Oak Hill, two grandchildren, Jasmin Rae Romero and Dominick Robert Romero both of Fayetteville, and a nephew, Corey Allen Comer. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Russell Hays officiating. Burial will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Oak Hill. on June 28, 2012.¹

     Mary Eva Fields Elmore Rites - Final rites for Mrs. Eva Elmore, 38, who died Saturday at her home in Wilson Hollow are scheduled for Tuesday at 10:30 am at the Blue Creek Advent Christian Church. Rev. Estel Mundy will officiate and burial will be in the Hall cemetery at Blue Creek with the Albert Myers and son mortuary of Elkview in charge. Surviving are her husband, James Elmore, a son, Edward Elmore, her mother, Mrs. Luvina Elmore (sic), two sisters, Mrs. Alice Sheets and Mrs. Flora (sic) Sheets, both of Frame, and four brothers, Jarrett, Emmanuel, Thornton and Lee Fields, all of Walton.¹ She was buried at Hall Warner Cemetery, Blue Creek, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^1,2 Her married name was Elmore.¹ She married James Everette Elmore, son of Jesse Marshall Elmore and Mary Evelyn Cobb.^1,2,3 Mary Eva Fields was born on April 16, 1899 at Kettle, Roane Co., West Virginia.² She died on April 2, 1938 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 38.^1,2

     James Edward Elmore Sr. was buried at Biglerville Cemetery, Biglerville, Adams Co., Pennsylvania.² He was born on December 9, 1934 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.² He married Wanda Mae Larch on February 8, 1962 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^2,3 James Edward Elmore Sr. died on January 21, 2005 at Biglerville, Adams Co., Pennsylvania, at age 70.² He James E. Elmore Sr., 70, of 3097 Biglerville Road, Biglerville, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at home. Born Dec. 9, 1934, in Charleston, W.Va., he was a son of the late James E. and Mary E. Fields Elmore. An Army veteran who served during the Korean War, Mr. Elmore was retired from Biglerville Home Center in Biglerville. He was a member of St. Johns Evangelical United Brethren Church in Chambersburg and the Eagles in Gettysburg. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Wanda M. Larch Elmore; and a son, James E. Elmore Jr. of Gettysburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, with the Rev. Jerry W. Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Biglerville Cemetery. on January 22, 2005.²

Surviving are her husband, David Franks; a daughter, Deborah Hockman of Crooksville; two sons, David L. Franks of New Lexington and Eric M. Hockman of Crooksville; a sister, Virginia Mae Elmore Skidmore of Blanchester; four grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; an aunt, Edna V. Steele of Thornville; and a special cousin, Margaret Persiriger of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Elmer Stanley Persinger, who died in 1991. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 1, 1996, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 1996, at Bope-Thomas Funeral Home, 203 S. Columbus St, Somerset Services will be at 11 am. Wednesday, July 3, 1996, at the funeral home with the Rev. David Pyles officiating. Burial will be in Drum's Cemetery. on June 30, 1996.³
