Peggy was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church that her late mother, Rev. Nola Elizabeth Amos, started in 1943. Peggy enjoyed music and shared her talent serving as the pianist of her church since its beginning. A person of many talents, Peggy enjoyed art and was a member of the Shreveport/Bossier Art Club. She never met a stranger and her home was opened to anyone in need. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and we thank God for sharing her with us. Her parents, Rev. Nola Amos and Cecil Amos, preceded her in death. Survivors are her husband of 47 years, O.C. Brewer of Shreveport, LA; daughters, Glenda Raley and husband, Larry of Coushatta, LA, Rhonda Mangrum and husband, Russell of Doyline, LA and BeBe Johnson and husband, Ted of Bossier City, LA; grandchildren, Todd and Bobbie Raley, Shane and Tasha Raley, Jennifer and Ray Parish, Trey Holder, Thomas Mangrum and Katie Margaret Johnson; great grandchildren, Holly Raley, Michael Thompson and Kyle Sanders; and her special poodle, Picasso. Pallbearers will be Trey Holder, Todd Raley, Tim Weaver, Paul Weaver, Ray Parish and Shane Raley. on September 4, 2004.4

He passed away Friday, June 16, 2006 in Bossier City, LA following a lengthy illness. Mr. Brewer was a member of Radiant Life Assembly Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; seven sisters; and his beloved wife of 49 years, Peggy Ann Amos Brewer. He is survived by his daughters, Bebe Johnson and husband, Ted, Linda Simpkins and husband, Jim, Glenda Raley and husband, Larry, and Rhonda Mangrum and husband, Russell; his sister, Betheen Brewer Rogers; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his buddy, Pizza. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Margaret Williams for her compassionate care of Mr. Brewer. on June 18, 2006.1

Officiating will be Rev. Tom Hill and Rev. James Phillips. Interment following in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., December 22, 2015 at Rose-Neath Southside. Aubrey was born on February 21, 1928 in Fairview Alpha, LA and went to be with his Lord Jesus on December 19, 2015. He moved to Shreveport after graduating high school and went to work for Mr. Lonnie Kilpatrick driving an ambulance. Aubrey served in the Marine Corps. He attended Plumbers and Fitters Trade School, and LIFE Bible College, Los Angeles, CA where he was also the head basketball Coach. He worked as a journeyman plumber for sixty five years and retired in 1997 from the City of Shreveport as a plumbing inspector. He was a past mason, member of the Scottish Rite, 33rd degree and El Karubah Shrine. Aubrey was a faithful member of the Foursquare Gospel Church since 1949 and served as pastor for forty years, building, pioneering, and pastoring churches in Oklahoma and Louisiana. Aubrey is preceded in death by his parents, Lizzie Cothren Weaver and Aubrey Paul Weaver; grandmother who raised him, Beulah Weaver, sisters, Dora Lee Weaver Cook and Nora Lee Weaver Williams, and grandson, Blake Evan Weaver. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley Anne Weaver, daughters, Glenda Raley (Larry), Rhonda Mangum (Russell), sons, Paul Weaver (Loretta) and Timothy Weaver (Susan), ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.1 He was born on February 21, 1928 at Fairview Alpha, Louisiana.2,1 He married Peggy Ann Amos, daughter of Cecil Leslie Amos and Rev.
