Joann Brueckman Joann Brueckman Janney, June 7, 1934 - October 11, 2019. Joann B. Janney, age 85, of Loganville, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, with Rev. Owen Skinner officiating. Interment services will be held at 1:00 pm at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. A native of McKee’s Rocks, PA, Mrs. Janney was a homemaker and was a retired sales associate with the J.C. Penney Co. She was a member of Loganville First United Methodist Church. Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Janney and her son, Mark C. Janney. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Sherry Janney of Lawrenceville and Doug and Tammy Janney of Loganville; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Wallis Leavell of Knoxville, TN; daughter-in-law, Diane Janney of New York; grandchildren, Ryan Janney, Sean (Elyse) Janney, Courtney (Dalton) Sharp, Bradley Janney, Joe Janney, Hailey Janney, Douglas Janney, Jr., Holly Janney, Marshall (Haley) Leavell, Charles Thomas “C.T.” (Taylor) Leavell and Hannah (Evan) Leavell; great grandchildren, Olivia Janney, Theodore Janney, Jamison Sharp, Callie Leavell and Charlie Paige Leavell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chucky (Charlotte) Brueckman and Jim (Debbie) Brueckman; extended family, Melanie and Kevin Leslie and their son, Danny Leslie, who Joann considered to be a great grandson; several nieces and nephews.1 She was buried at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Cherokee Co., Georgia.2,1 She was born on June 7, 1934 at McKees Rocks, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania.1,2 As of circa 1953,her married name was Janney.3 She married Charles Perry Janney, son of General Arnold "Mack" Janney and Annie Lee Black, circa 1953.1,3 Joann Brueckman died on October 11, 2019 at Georgia at age 85.1,2

He was born on September 9, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of Charles P. and Joann Brueckman Janney. Mark was a graduate of Montour Falls High. After high school, Mark served in the Air Force where one of final duty assignments was Hancock Air Force Base. Following his discharge, he stayed in the Syracuse area and later graduated from OCC with a degree in Business Administration. While attending college, he met and later married Diane Livermore on May 7, 1982 at the Dewitt Community Church. Mark worked for Grater Syracuse Moving and Storage Co., Inc., as a relocation consultant. He had previously worked many years as a food sales representative for various food distributors. Mark also coached little league team for Morrisville, Eaton, Smithfield Youth Commission. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Diane; two sons, Ryan and Sean both at home; his mother, Joann Janney of Stone Mountain, GA; his maternal grandmother, Pearl Brueckman of Charlotte, NC; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Wallis Leavell of Knoxville, TN; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Sherry Janney of Atlanta, GA and Douglas and Tammy Janney of Loganville, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive Mark. Mark was predeceased by his father, Charles on May 1, 2006. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. Interment will be at Madison Village Cemetery. on May 16, 2006.5
