She retired from Huntington County Community School Corporation and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Sharon was born August 11, 1951, in Pontiac, MI, the daughter of Catherine Scott. She is survived by 4 daughters Lisa Johnson of Columbia City, Melinda (John) Davis of Andrews, Nichole (Brian) Grover of Huntington and Brandi (Ted) Grover of Andrews, 10 grandchildren Bryce (Kasey) Davis, Justin (Becky) Davis, Christopher (Kira) Miller, Dustin Grover, Kristan (Joey) DeLeo, Tiffany Davis, David Grover, Melayna Grover, Haley Johnson, and Brett Johnson, 7 great-grandchildren and a sister Yvonne Martini of Michigan. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters JoAnn Fields and Sally Williams and a brother Sterling Scott. Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery.2 She and David Winton Collins were divorced.1 Sharon Diane Scott was born on August 11, 1951 at Pontiac, Oakland Co., Michigan.2 As of March 27, 1967,her married name was Collins.3 She married David Winton Collins, son of Oakley Lewis "Okey" Collins and Pearl May Mullins, on March 27, 1967 at Sprague, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.3 Sharon Diane Scott married David Winton Collins, son of Oakley Lewis "Okey" Collins and Pearl May Mullins, on March 27, 1982 at Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana.1 Sharon Diane Scott died on March 13, 2017 at Andrews, Huntington Co., Indiana, at age 65.2

Phyllis Jean Dale was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee, Lucas Co., Ohio.3,2 She was born on July 25, 1929 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.3,2 As of June 27, 1951,her married name was Brewer.1 She married William Everett Brewer, son of James Harrison Brewer and Edna Chloe Byers, on June 27, 1951 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.1,2 Phyllis Jean Dale died on April 14, 2010 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, at age 80.1,3,2 She Phyllis Jean (Dale) Brewer passed away peacefully April 14, 2010, at Ebeid Hospice Residence. She was born July 25, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio, to Wilma and Tyler Dale. Phyllis attended Longfellow Elementary School and graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1947. She earned a Bachelor of Education degree from The University of Toledo in 1951. On June 27, 1951, she married her elementary school sweetheart, Bill Brewer at Pilgrim Congregational Church. She briefly taught math at Springfield High School before giving birth to her three children, Bill, Jr. (Oxford, Ohio), Jenny (Darrell) Alt (Holland, Ohio) and Tim (Lori) (West Bloomfield, Michigan). She returned to teaching in 1963 and taught 7th grade mathematics at McTigue Junior High School before teaching at Rogers High School for 25 years. She was an outstanding teacher. She had a wonderful sense of humor and made math fun for her students. Many of her students did well on advanced placement tests as a result of being in her calculus class. Upon retirement, she and her husband traveled extensively including many trips with their grandchildren. In addition to her husband and children, Phyllis is survived by seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her sister, Janis (Gerald) Leichtweis (Lowville, New York). She was a member of Westminster Prebyterian Church. She enjoyed sailing, reading, needle point and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Services are private with interment at Riverside Cemetery. on April 16, 2010.2
