Jack was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church, a graduate of Powell High School Class of 1955 and a retired truck salesman from International Harvester. Jack was a loving dad, pappaw and great pappaw. He loved spending time with his family and close friends. Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Mildred Wyrick Hawkins; daughter Cindy Lee Hawkins; father Arnold Hawkins; mother Rita Mae Hawkins; brothers Clyde Hawkins and Edward Hawkins. He is survived by his daughter Robin Cox and husband Mike Cox; son Stewart Hawkins; daughter Wendy Reynolds and husband Doug Reynolds; grandchildren Joshua Cox, Amy Moffitt and husband Brandon, Shane Cox and Lindsey Varner, Kelsey Cox, Brandon Hawkins and wife Allyssa, Jay Hawkins, Dustin Brock and wife Emily, Kristin Reynolds, Westin Reynolds and Coltin Reynolds; and his much loved 11 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Richard Wyrick and wife June; sister-in-law Birdie Hawkins; lots of loving nieces and nephews; and his special friend Mary Luttrell and special caregiver DeeDee Jarnigan. Family and friends will meet at Glenwood Baptist Church Cemetery. on October 18, 2018.⁴
