     Evelyn Elzie Richardson was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.² She Evelyn Richardson Wygal, 98, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 15, 2018. She was preceded by her parents, Angie and Claudia Smith Richardson; brother, Clarence Richardson; sister, Louise Hudson; husbands, Robert Aliff and Fred Wygal; and a daughter, Marilyn Aliff. Evelyn was a longtime member of First Church of God Hildebrand Road. Surviving are her children, Sherrill (Rebecca) Aliff, Charlotte Aliff, Sandra (Roger) Snyder, Suzanne (James) Hatcher; brothers, Paul and Nelson Richardson; sister, Gladys Gibson; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.² She was born on January 11, 1920 at Shawsville, Montgomery Co., Virginia.³ As of September 8, 1939,her married name was Aliff.³ She married Robert Carl Aliff on September 8, 1939 at Roanoke, Virginia.^2,3,5 As of October 7, 1966,her married name was Wygal.³ Evelyn Elzie Richardson married Fred Edward Wygal on October 7, 1966 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^2,3 Evelyn Elzie Richardson died on December 15, 2018 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 98.²

He was born Sept. 10, 1952, in Hagerstown, Md., to the late Frank Russell and Caroline May Greenwalt Townsley. He was a 1970 graduate of Williamsport High School, Williamsport, Md. He also attended Hagerstown Junior College. He was employed by Fox & Associates Inc. for 42 years as a surveyor and partner. Russell was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was of the Methodist faith. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Hagerstown Rotary and he was the Paul Harris Award Recipient, Washington County Homebuilder's Association, Conococheague Tribe 84 IORM Williamsport, Md., and Washington County Land Use Council. He was a former member of Williamsport Lions Club. Russell is survived by his wife, Martha R. Townsley, whom he married Oct. 20, 1979; son, David R. Townsley of Fairplay, Md; daughter, Joanne R. Townsley and her boyfriend, John Mills, Cearfoss, Md; his beloved grandchildren, Owen and Alexa; sister, Mary Townsley of Coden, Ala; sister, Pat Reyes of San Francisco, Calif; sister, Ginny Ramirez of Modesto, Calif; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; special friends, Jesse and Jean Witmer, Randy and Angie Shifler and Bobby Harmon.
