Survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Mark; daughters, Julia and Krista; granddaughter, Erin; grandson, Ben; great granddaughter, Sidney; brother, John Lape; several nieces and nephews. Roberta is a 1960 graduate of North High School. Attended Otterbein College, Franklin University, and The Ohio State University. Retired from OHSAA after 22 years. She was a member of the Union County Master Gardeners for 18 years and a member of the Clintonville Women’s Club. Roberta loved her crafts and gardens and volunteer work. She was a 47-year member of St. James Episcopal Church, Columbus, Ohio.¹ She was born on June 4, 1942 at Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio.¹ As of circa 1961,her married name was Gordon.¹ She married Mark Gordon circa 1961.^1,2 Roberta Lape died on January 17, 2021 at Ohio at age 78.¹
