     Conrad Dee Funk was buried at Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center, Cass Co., Indiana.³ He was born on August 7, 1948 at Winamac, Pulaski Co., Indiana.³ He married Jennifer Elaine Miller, daughter of Clifford Edward Miller Jr. and Aminda May Girton, on June 24, 1969 at Royal Center, Cass Co., Indiana.^1,2 Conrad Dee Funk died on November 29, 2019 at Cass Co., Indiana, at age 71.³ He Conrad D. Funk, 71, of Royal Center passed away at 4:20 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019 surrounded by his family. Born on August 7, 1948 in Winamac, he was the son of the late Merlin and Mary Alice (Mansfield) Funk. He was a 1966 Pioneer High School graduate and a U.S. Army veteran. On June 21, 1969 he married J. Elaine Miller, she survives. Conrad was a shop foreman for the Cass County Highway Department retiring in 2011. He owned and operated Conrad's Small Engine Repair in Royal Center for many years and was also a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Baptist Christian Church where he served as elder, deacon and trustee. Conrad was also a member of Indiana Farm Bureau and the Cass County Indiana Farm Bureau District Board. He enjoyed tractor pulling, International tractors, and spending time with his family. Conrad was Past President of the Royal Center Town Board, a member of Royal Center Lions Club, Jaycees and a life member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Funk of Royal Center, sons, Jeff Funk and wife Kathy of Royal Center and Ryan Funk and wife Holly of Royal Center, brother, Robert "Bob" Funk and wife Deb of Royal Center and Garry Funk of Florida, sisters, Deena Hubler and husband Bob of Jasper and Michele Corey and husband David of Fishers and grandchildren, Bryce, Jacob, Kaylee, and Lexi. Burial with military rites will be performed at Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center. on December 2, 2019.³

     Gertrude Mae Simpson was buried at Sugar Grove Church Cemetery, County Road 2300 E, Kidley, Edgar Co., Illinois.^3,2 Her Social Security Number was 304-16-8820.⁴ She was born on April 25, 1901 at Kidley, Edgar Co., Illinois.^1,2,4 As of August 23, 1919,her married name was Miller.¹ She married Floyd Herschel Miller, son of John Robert Miller and Anna Mae Conner, on August 23, 1919 at Terre Haute, Vigo Co., Indiana.¹ Gertrude Mae Simpson died on March 8, 1992 at Springfield, Sangamon Co., Illinois, at age 90.^2,4 She OZARK - Gertrude M. Montz, 90, Ozark, died Sunday morning in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield. Born April 25, 1901, in Kidley, Ill., she was the daughter of William Henry and Minnie Simpson. She lived much of her life In Frankfort, Ill., before moving to Ozark in 1961. She was a member of Ozark United Methodist Church, She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin John Montz; a son, Wayne Miller; and a step-grandson, Toby. Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Davis, Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Carrie Kinney; a half-brother, Henry Simpson, both of the state of California; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, near Paris, Ill. on March 10, 1992.²

     Wayne Hershel Miller was buried at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger, Hutchinson Co., Texas.⁶ He married Betty Lou Gentry.⁵ Wayne Hershel Miller was born on August 26, 1920 at Brocton, Edgar Co., Illinois.^3,6 He Services for Wayne H. Miller, 53, of 812 E. Grand, are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors. Miller was dead on arrival at 9:15 a.m. today at North Plains Hospital following an apparent heart attack. He was a worker for Fish Engineering and Construction Company and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou of the home; six sons, Timmy, Todd and Tracy Miller, all of the home, Toby, Tommy and Terry Florer, all of Amarillo; two daughters, Dawn Florer of the home and Mrs. Nancy Haws of Houston; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio; his father, Floyd Miller of St. Petersburg, Fla; his mother, Mrs. Alvin Montz of Ozark, Mo. on April 4, 1974.⁵ He died on April 4, 1974 at Borger, Hutchinson Co., Texas, at age 53.^5,6,7
