Reginald Baxter Short was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, 1300 Mountain View Road, Vinton, Roanoke Co., Virginia.3 He Reginald B. Short, of Cincinnati. O., native of Vinton and general manager of oil producing companies with headquarters in Oklahoma City, Okla., died of a heart attack about noon yesterday in his office in Oklahoma City. He was 51 years of age. For 30 years prior to his association last year with the oil concerns, he was connected with the Houston coal interests with headquarters in Cincinnati, and mines in West Virginia. His association with Houston interests began at Elkhorn, W. Va., in 1910, after he had attended Roanoke schools, including National Business college. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annie Wickham Short, formerly of Salem; two sons, Reginald, Jr., a University of Oklahoma student, and Charles Lee Short, all of Cincinnati; a brother, Carl B. Short, of Vinton, and a sister, Mrs. A. L. Hensley, of Williamson, W. Va.4 He was born on March 6, 1890 at Vinton, Roanoke Co., Virginia.1,5,3 He married Annette Gertrude "Jennie" "Anna" Wickham, daughter of Rev. Samuel Kinzie Wickham and Mary Jane DeWeese, on October 5, 1911 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.1,4 Reginald Baxter Short died on November 24, 1941 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., Oklahoma, at age 51.3,4
