     Clarence Lee Clodfelter Jr. was buried at Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, Virginia.5,2 He Clarence Lee Clodfelter, Jr. of Newport News, 83, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. He was born in Durham, NC, and had been a resident of the Peninsula for over 75 years. He was a pharmacist and owner and operator of Brentwood Pharmacy. Clarence completed his career with Rite Aid and retired in 2018, after serving 56 years in the business. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Virginia Pharmaceutical Association, Past President of Mended Hearts, a member of Bremond Masonic Lodge #241. He was also a member of Newport News Scottish Rite, Warwick Masonic Lodge #336, and Warwick Royal Arch Chapter #80. As a resident of The Chesapeake, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and lifelong learning experiences. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and Clarence L. Clodfelter, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Pauline "Polly" Whelchel Clodfelter; two daughters, Pam C. Youngblood (Pat) and Paula C. Mobley (Richard); son, Clarence Lee Clodfelter, III (Marci); grandchildren, Mason Youngblood, Ben Youngblood, Brian Youngblood, Stephen Mobley (Alexa), Katherine Mobley and Cordelia Clodfelter; two sisters, Anne Tucker (Roy) and Jean Gulick (Jim); and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family interment will be held at Peninsula Memorial Park.2 He was born in March, 1937 at Durham, Durham Co., North Carolina.2,6 He married Pauline Reynolds "Polly" Whelchel circa 1962.2 Clarence Lee Clodfelter Jr. died on January 6, 2021 at Newport News, Virginia, at age 83.2
