He is survived by his wife, Nell and son, Terry; several nieces and nephews. Willie served in the Army during the Korean War, and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 4491, New Castle. He retired from Associated Transport and later retired from VDOT. Garland was a faithful member of First Baptist Church for over 50 years. He loved the Lord and he loved working with the kids in Vacation Bible School and loved teaching his Adult Sunday School Class. The family would like to give special thanks to Gentiva Home Care ladies and to the Good Samaritan Hospice, especially Nurse Mary Evans. Interment will follow at Huffman Memorial Park. on May 11, 2015.6

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Blevins she is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, James Blevins, Michael and Reba May Blevins, Robert and Ok Chu Blevins and Danny and Carlyn Blevins; brothers, Henry and Barbara Hutchison, Jerry and Linda Hutchison; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, Va. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Cross Road Christian Church, Craig County, conducted by the Rev. James Bradley with burial in the Church Cemetery. on May 18, 2009.3
