     Ruby Emogene Paitsel was buried at Huffman Memorial Park (also known as Chestnut Grove Church Cemetery), above the fish hatchery, Rt. 42, Craig Co., Virginia.2 She was born on April 24, 1933 at Craig Co., Virginia.1,2 As of January 1, 1954,her married name was St. Clair.3 She married Clinton Elijah St. Clair on January 1, 1954 at Roanoke, Virginia.3,5,2 Ruby Emogene Paitsel died on July 7, 2023 at Virginia at age 90.2 She Ruby Emogene Paitsel St. Clair, 90, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023. She was ready to see her Lord and Savior and other Saints as she stepped into Heaven. The oldest of seven children, Ruby was born on April 24, 1933. She was the big sister to her siblings, helping her mother with the daily responsibilities in the household. Ruby loved people, always had a big heart for children. She loved her family dearly. Raising her children was her full-time job. She was a baby-sitter for many children in the community and loved them as if they were her own. She worked at the New Castle High School Cafeteria for many years and sought to make life better for all the students. Ruby was proceeded in death by her husband, Clinton E. St. Clair; her dad and mother, James E. and Alva H. Paitsel; and sister, Lucille Huffman. Left to cherish her memories are her five children, Stanley C. St. Clair (Dawn) of Roby, Mo., C. Wesley St. Clair (Jean) of Forest, Va., Roger D. St. Clair (Shelia), of Catawba, Va., Debbie S. Thomas (James) of New Castle, Va., and Robin T. Menezes (Lucas) of New Castle, Va; fourteen grandchildren, Heather Stevens, Dale St. Clair, Justin St. Clair, Sara Louden, Amelia Taylor, Katie St. Clair, Gregory St. Clair, Meredith Craft, Margaret Bell, Bryce St. Clair, Zachary St. Clair, Olivia Menezes, Joshua Menezes, and Maggie Thomas; twenty great-grandchildren; six siblings, Shirley Paitsel, Margaret Paitsel, Kenneth Paitsel, Harriett Medley, Oneta Paitsel, and Diane Ray; and many dear friends. Interment will follow at Huffman Memorial Park in New Castle, Va. The family expresses gratitude and thanks to the Snyder Nursing Home staff for their loving care of Ruby over the past few years. on July 11, 2023.2
