He is survived by sisters; Marie Looney and Louise Hutchison, sister and brother-in-law; Virginia and Ray Compton, sister-in-law; Becky Hutchison, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernie Looney. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marie Looney; son, David R. Looney and wife, Wanda; daughter, Christina M. Albright and husband, Amos; son, Benjamin L. Looney and wife, Jessica; daughter, Elizabeth R.      Ruby Emogene Paitsel was buried at Huffman Memorial Park (also known as Chestnut Grove Church Cemetery), above the fish hatchery, Rt. 42, Craig Co., Virginia.² She was born on April 24, 1933 at Craig Co., Virginia.^1,2 As of January 1, 1954,her married name was St. Clair.³ She married Clinton Elijah St. Clair on January 1, 1954 at Roanoke, Virginia.^3,5,2 Ruby Emogene Paitsel died on July 7, 2023 at Virginia at age 90.² She Ruby Emogene Paitsel St. Clair, 90, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023. She was ready to see her Lord and Savior and other Saints as she stepped into Heaven. The oldest of seven children, Ruby was born on April 24, 1933. She was the big sister to her siblings, helping her mother with the daily responsibilities in the household. Ruby loved people, always had a big heart for children. She loved her family dearly. Raising her children was her full-time job. She was a baby-sitter for many children in the community and loved them as if they were her own. She worked at the New Castle High School Cafeteria for many years and sought to make life better for all the students. Ruby was proceeded in death by her husband, Clinton E. St. Clair; her dad and mother, James E. and Alva H. Paitsel; and sister, Lucille Huffman. Left to cherish her memories are her five children, Stanley C. St. Clair (Dawn) of Roby, Mo., C. Wesley St. Clair (Jean) of Forest, Va., Roger D. St. Clair (Shelia), of Catawba, Va., Debbie S. Thomas (James) of New Castle, Va., and Robin T. Menezes (Lucas) of New Castle, Va; fourteen grandchildren, Heather Stevens, Dale St. Clair, Justin St. Clair, Sara Louden, Amelia Taylor, Katie St. Clair, Gregory St. Clair, Meredith Craft, Margaret Bell, Bryce St. Clair, Zachary St. Clair, Olivia Menezes, Joshua Menezes, and Maggie Thomas; twenty great-grandchildren; six siblings, Shirley Paitsel, Margaret Paitsel, Kenneth Paitsel, Harriett Medley, Oneta Paitsel, and Diane Ray; and many dear friends. Interment will follow at Huffman Memorial Park in New Castle, Va. The family expresses gratitude and thanks to the Snyder Nursing Home staff for their loving care of Ruby over the past few years. on July 11, 2023.²

     Clinton Elijah St. Clair was buried at Huffman Memorial Park (also known as Chestnut Grove Church Cemetery), above the fish hatchery, Rt. 42, Craig Co., Virginia.⁵ His Social Security Number was 228-30-5189.⁶ He was born on March 17, 1930 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.^2,5,6 He married Ruby Emogene Paitsel, daughter of James Edward Paitsel and Alva Norine Hutchinson, on January 1, 1954 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,7,8 Clinton Elijah St. Clair died on April 28, 2011 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 81.^5,3,6,4 He Clinton Elijah St. Clair, of New Castle, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 28, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nannie St. Clair; brothers, John St. Clair, Samuel St. Clair, Virgil St. Clair, and Francis Andrew St. Clair; and sister, Thelma Fuller. Clinton lost his father at an early age during the depression and was raised by Rev. and Mrs. E.J. Thomas, of Moneta. He served in the United States Army in Korea where he received a Purple Heart. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved the outdoors and supporting his children's sports activities. He was survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruby St. Clair; children, Stanley C. St. Clair and fiancee, Dawn Mayberry, C. Wesley and Jean St. Clair, Roger and Shelia St. Clair, Debbie and James Thomas, and Robin and Lucas Menezes; sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Van Dooley; grandchildren, Heather Stevens, Dale St. Clair, Justin St. Clair, Sara Bell, Amelia Menezes, Katie St. Clair, Gregory St. Clair, Meredith St. Clair, Bryce St. Clair, Margaret Bell, Zachary St. Clair, Olivia Menezes, and Joshua Menezes; great-grandchild, Camryn Stevens; and expectant great-grandchildren, Isabella St. Clair and Noah Stevens; also many special nieces and nephews; and special friend, Bob Boardwine. Interment will follow at Huffman Memorial Park with military rites performed by VFW Post #4491. on April 29, 2011.⁴
