     Shawn Cory Belcher Shawn Cory Belcher, June 24, 1978 - July 27, 2022. Shawn Cory Belcher, 44 of Lexington, NC and formerly of Bluefield, VA passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of Bobby Ray Belcher of AL and Teresa Kitts Hill of Abbs Valley, VA. Shawn attended Graham High School. He enjoyed gardening flowers and loved to play the guitar. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Glenn Alderson and Vertice Arnold Kitts and paternal grandparents: Harles and Gin Gin Belcher, father Bobby Belcher. He will be missed by his mother and stepfather: Teresa and Claude Wayne Hill of Abbs Valley, VA; brother: Bobby Ray Belcher II and wife, Melissa and their son, Walker of North Tazewell, VA, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a stepbrother and stepsister. Graveside services for Shawn will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluewell, WV.¹ He was buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 3410 Coal Heritage Road, Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia.¹ He was born on June 24, 1978 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia.¹ He died on July 27, 2022 at age 44.¹

     Mildred Madelyn Burress was buried at Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, Tazewell Co., Virginia.^2,1 She Mildred (Millie) M. McGhee, age 90, of Bluefield, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 22, 2015 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born May 10, 1925 in Burkes Garden, VA., she was the daughter of the late George Harvey and Ina Bell (Dillow) Burress. She was a retired employee of Bluefield Sanitarium / Bluefield Regional Medical Center where she worked for 26 years, first in labor & delivery and finally as a Unit Secretary until her retirement on August 31, 1990. She was a member of Maple View Church of Christ in Bluefield, WV. whose members she loved and looked forward to seeing on Sunday mornings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Harry Ball and Robert Lee McGhee, one infant son Charles Lee McGhee, along with six sisters, two brothers and several nieces and nephews. Left to cherish her memory were the loves of her life daughter Diane Williams and husband Steve of North Tazewell, VA., sons Rodney Ball Sr. and wife Dianna of Piney Flats, TN., Larry Ball Sr. and wife Vickey of Bluefield, VA., and Bobby McGhee of Bluefield, WV., grandsons RD Ball of Piney Flats, TN., Larry Ball Jr. and wife Patty of Suffolk, VA., Travis Williams and companion Shelley of N. Tazewell, VA., and Jason Williams and wife Nicole of N. Tazewell, VA. Also left were her great grandchildren Tharan and Delanney Ball, Justin, Maddox, and Savannah Williams and Shelley’s daughter Beth., near and dearest friends Maxine Kitts, Donna Umberger, and Carol Wade, her little furry buddies Dolly and Patches along with several nephews, nieces, and friends. Millie loved everyone she came in contact with. She loved her soap operas & sports, especially the Atlanta Braves. Graveside services for Millie will be conducted at the Grandview Memory Gardens’ Mausoleum in Bluefield, VA.¹ She was born on May 10, 1925 at Burkes Garden, Tazewell Co., Virginia.^3,2,1 As of June 10, 1956,her married name was McGhee.³ She married Robert Lee McGhee, son of Leonard Robert McGhee and Bessie Aldine Williams, on June 10, 1956 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^3,4,1 Mildred Madelyn Burress died on May 22, 2015 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 90.^2,1

     Lonnie Painter Schoonover was buried at Fair View Cemetery, 3300 Melrose Ave. N.W., Roanoke, Virginia.¹ He married Lillian Gertrude McGhee, daughter of Ahab H. McGhee and Minerva S. "Nervy" Palmer.¹ Lonnie Painter Schoonover was born on May 14, 1903 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.¹ He died on January 31, 1940 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 36.¹
