Graham Wickline and his wife, Donna, of Radford; a daughter, Brenda Wickline Lessard, of Dublin; a brother, Harding Graham and his wife, Lucille, of Radford; two sisters, Atha Smith, of Tampa, Fla., and Lakie Williams, of Roanoke. Also survived by four grandchildren, Jason Wickline, Austin Wickline, Kimberly W. Taylor and Joseph Lessard; two greatgrandchildren, Kyle Wickline and Lucas Taylor. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Burial Park where the V.F.W. Post 776 will conduct Military Honors. on March 8, 2010.3

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evangeline Graham Wickline of Radford; one son, L. Graham Wickline and his wife Donna of Radford; one daughter, Brenda Wickline Lessard of Radford; one sister, Margie McCraw of Radford. Also survived by four grandchildren, Jason Wickline, Kimberly Wickline, Austin Wickline, Joseph Lessard, and one great-grandson, Kyle Wickline. She is survived by her sister, Lakie William; brother, Harding Graham; and many nieces and nephews. Atha is preceded in death by her son, Ronald D. Duncan; husband, Jack Smith; sisters, Mary Switzer, Iva Hodges, Mae Conner, Edith McBride, Vera Eaves, and Evangeline Wickline; and brother, Hanson Graham.11 She was buried at Chapel Hill Gardens, Dade City, Pasco Co., Florida.4 Her married name was Smith.1 Her married name was Duncan.12 She married Jack Smith.1,5,7,11 Atha Elnora Graham married David Haston Duncan Jr.4 Atha Elnora Graham was born on January 1, 1924 at Floyd Co., Virginia.3 She and David Haston Duncan Jr. were divorced in April, 1960 at Hillsborough Co., Florida.13 Atha Elnora Graham died on May 15, 2017 at Florida at age 93.11

He was retired from Burlington Industries with over forty-five years of service. Born and raised in the Alum Ridge area of Floyd County, Va. he served in the United States Army during World War II in New Guiana, the Philippines, and Guadalcanal. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, serving many years as chaplain for Radford's Post 776. He married his wife of seventy years, Lucille Roop Graham, in 1948 and purchased their life-long home in Radford. He loved fishing, gardening, playing Santa Claus, building log bird houses, and making "peach tree baskets". After retirement, using trees he had cut and handcrafted, he built his own log cabin. He served many years as a deacon for the Seventh Day Adventist Church. In addition to his wife, Lucille, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Milton and Lois Graham; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Peter Hart of Frostburg, MD; step-son Larry Dickens and friend, Donna of Pulaski; grandsons, Gavin Hart and Rickey Dickens; and his granddaughter, Kelsey Hart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peyton and Maggie Graham and nine siblings: sisters Mary Switzer, Iva Hodges, Mae Conner, Edith McBride, Vera Eaves, Atha Smith, Evangeline Wickline, Lakie Williams, and brother, Hanson Graham. The family wishes to thank all those from the VA, Intrepid, Human Touch, and the many friends for their help during this difficult period. Interment with full military rites will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. on September 14, 2018.4

She was a lifelong resident of Radford. She was preceded in death in 2018 by her husband of 70 years, Harding. ' They met while working at Burlington Mills in Radford where Harding was rehired after returning from World War II. They were married on March 27, 1948. They purchased a home in Mill Village and never left. Over the years, Lucille also worked for J.D. Freezer & Son, the Commonwealth Press, and Dublin Garment. She enjoyed traveling, especially winter trips to Florida, hosting church socials at their mountain cabin, making quilts, cooking, growing flowers and preparing for her favorite holiday, Christmas. Survivors include her sons, Larry Dickens (Donna) and Milton Graham (Lois); daughter, Tammy Hart (Peter); along with several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and Eric, a special neighbor and friend to Lucille and Harding. A graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. on August 19, 2020.3

She was a faithful member of Blacksburg United Methodist Church and enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, reading, cooking, hunting sea shells (especially at Fort Myers, FL), bluegrass music and was an avid fan of Virginia Tech sports. One of her greatest joys was taking care of her family. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Blacksburg United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Reggie Tuck and the Rev. Fred Austin officiating. There will be a private immediate family interment in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. The family is very grateful for all the care and support provided by his friends, his caregivers and Hospice.
