     Her married name was Moore.¹ Rebecca Ann “Becky” Sarratt married Unknown Moore.^1,4 Rebecca Ann “Becky” Sarratt was born on May 7, 1975.⁴ As of September 27, 1997,her married name was Cuci.² She married Jonathan Anthony Cuci on September 27, 1997 at Chesapeake, Virginia.² Rebecca Ann “Becky” Sarratt and Jonathan Anthony Cuci were divorced on November 30, 2001 at Virginia Beach, Virginia.³ Rebecca Ann “Becky” Sarratt died on June 3, 2013 at Suffolk, Virginia, at age 38.⁴ She Suffolk - Rebecca Sarratt Cuci Moore, born on May 7, 1975, entered into eternal rest on June 3, 2013 following a courageous battle with cancer. She loved God and her family with all her heart and drew strength from her abounding faith and the constant love and support from family and friends. Becky is survived by devoted parents, David and Ann Sarratt, a cherished daughter, Laken Cuci, and a loving sister, Denise Shoemaker and her husband Chuck Shoemaker, and nieces Alexis and Cara Shoemaker. When Becky last visited her 101 year old Granny Pinnell, who recently passed away, Becky kissed her good-bye and said, "Granny, when you get to heaven, keep the gates open for me." No doubt her Granny was there to greet her. Becky is survived as well by many uncles and aunts, cousins, and dear friends. She was loved by so many. For Becky, departure from this life now means freedom from pain and a reunion in heaven with many loved ones. We who knew and loved her here on earth will miss her dearly and look forward to the time that we see her again. on June 6, 2013.⁴

Conner, on June 14, 1993 at Portsmouth, Virginia.^1,3,4 Joan Fay Goodman died on October 29, 1993 at Chesapeake, Virginia, at age 44.^5,2,3,6,4 She Joan Goodman Dixon Jennings Sarratt, 44, of Chesapeake, a beloved wife, mother, niece, teacher and friend, went home to be with the Lord on October 29, 1993. Born in Columbia, North Carolina, Joan had lived here most of her life. She was a resident of the Deep Creek section of Chesapeake. She is survived by her husband, Arnold E. Sarratt, her children, Bertie Dixon IV, and Andrew Lee Dixon of Chesapeake, Eric Sarratt and Holly Sarratt of Suffolk, a brother, Gene Allen Goodman of Grifton, North Carolina, two nieces and a grand-niece, several aunts and uncles, cousins, and a host of friends who loved her. A 1967 graduate of Deep Creek High School, Joan earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Old Dominion University in Norfolk. She had been retired from the Chesapeake Public School system after teaching physical education for 17 years. She taught P.E. at E.W. Chittum Elementary. Joan was a member of Deep Creek United Methodist Church, where she was active in her church life. Joan devoted herself to looking out for other people, especially in time of need. She was a charter member of the Upper Room Sunday School Class. on October 30, 1993.⁴
