She served in the U.S. Air Force. She was a manager at Martinsburg Public Housing. She was a member of the Church of Nazarene and attended Covenant Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by four daughters, Cynthia L. Russell of Winchester, Va., Debra S. Faircloth of Martinsburg, Jannelle R. Williams of Winchester and Crystal B. White of Hedgesville, W.Va; two sisters, Mary L. Henry of Martinsburg and Donna J. Staubs of Inwood; one brother, James W. Pierce of Laurel, Md; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one brother, William Pierce. Burial with military honors will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens. on November 21, 2003.²
