     Sylvia Anne Walsh McDowell, Sylvia Walsh of Topping, Virginia departed this life on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 26, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Harold "Mac" McDowell and her stepdaughter, Cindy McDowell. She is survived by her children, Steve Ricker and Lisa Lowery (Phil); stepchildren, Jeff McDowell and Julie Grace McDowell (Robertino); grandchildren, Chessa, Andrew, and Madeline; brothers, William Walsh (Carolyn) and Jerry Walsh (Kathy), and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Sylvia was a loving mother and she adored her three grandchildren, to whom she passed on her love of art and music. She was a graduate of Johnston Willis Nursing School and retired from Richmond Eye and Ear Hospital. Sylvia was a beautiful person on this earth, kind and loving, as we were all meant to be. A graveside devotional will follow at Dale Memorial Park.⁵ She was buried at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield, Chesterfield Co., Virginia.^5,2 She was born on September 10, 1938 at Richmond, Virginia.^2,4,3 As of July 7, 1977,her married name was McDowell.³ She married Harold Lee McDowell, son of Eula Clifton McDowell and Myrtle Irene Nugen, on July 7, 1977 at Richmond, Virginia.^1,5,3 Sylvia Anne Walsh died on July 26, 2022 at Middlesex Co., Virginia, at age 83.^5,2

     Cindy Louise McDowell was buried at Walker Memorial Cemetery and Gardens, Summersville, Nicholas Co., West Virginia.^3,4 She was born on August 2, 1961 at Annandale, Fairfax Co., Virginia.^3,5,6,7 As of December 7, 1985,her married name was Atkins.⁵ She married David Scott Atkins on December 7, 1985 at Bon Air, Chesterfield Co., Virginia.⁵ Cindy Louise McDowell and David Scott Atkins were divorced on July 26, 1990 at Chesterfield Co., Virginia.⁶ Cindy Louise McDowell died on April 1, 2018 at Arlington, Virginia, at age 56.³ She Cindy Louise McDowell, 56, of Fairfax, Va., passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018, in the Holquest Hospice House at Arlington, Va. She was the daughter of Laura Annette Rapp Kingston-Smith of Fairfax and Harold Lee McDowell and wife Sylvia of Toppings, Va., and was born at Annandale, Va., August 2, 1961. Cindy was a professional in the information technology field. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are brother, Jeffery Clifton McDowell of Fairfax; sister, Julie Grace (Tino) Fieraru of Wildamar, Calf., stepbrother, Steve Ricker of Powhatan, Va; stepsister, Lisa (Phil) Lowery of Toppings; nephew, Andrew Fieraru; nieces, Madeline Fieraru and Chessa Lowery. Burial will follow in the Walker Memorial Park at Summersville. on April 5, 2018.³

     Charles Aubrey Wilson was buried at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^2,4,5 He was born on February 2, 1954 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^2,3,4 He died on February 4, 1954 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^2,4 He Charles Aubrey Wilson, 2-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Paul Wilson Jr. of Oak Hill, died at 12:15 a.m. Thursday in the Oak Hill Hospital. In addition to the parents, he is survived by a sister, Deborah Jean; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bishop of Jones Avenue, Oak Hill; and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Charles Paul Wilson of Walkersville. Graveside rites will be conducted at the Highland Memorial Park. on February 5, 1954.⁵
