He was a long-time resident of Rockford where he passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, December 18th. Bruce enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on old cars with his buddies Bill Gribble and Buck Whitehead. He never met a stranger, and it was well known that he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Bruce retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company. His Greatest Love was his granddaughter Abbey, and if you knew him you knew that. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Lee Lane, brother, Paul B.
