She was the daughter of Patricia Ann Ayers Lilly Michelson of Frederick, Md. and the late James Arley Lilly Sr. For the last 15 years she was employed as Inventory Control Clerk at St. Luke’s Hospital of Bluefield, but the work that she truly enjoyed was the joy that she brought to others. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother to her family and anyone else who needed a small ray of sunshine. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Elizabeth and Lisa Gayle Lilly. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 31 years, Kenneth Gerald “Jerry” Howell, the son of Martin “Junior” and Mary Howell of Pipestem.
