Linda Louise Dutt Linda Louise Massie, 66, of Lower Salem, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Summit Acres Nursing Home, in Caldwell, Ohio. Linda was born May 11, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to Lawrence and Dorothy (Hill) Barrows. She was a 1971 graduate of Woodridge High School. She married Randall Massie on February 11, 1974. Linda was a swing manager for the Marietta-area McDonalds restaurants for over 20 years. She was a member of the Twin Rivers Baptist Church. Linda loved to cook, and was particularly passionate about spending time with her grandchildren. Linda will be deeply missed by her husband Randall E. Massie; sons James (Lisa) Massie, Randall J. (April) Massie, Daniel (Danyel) Massie, Matthew (Ashley) Massie; 15 beloved grandchildren; brothers Ronald (Beth) Barrows and Ernest (Vickie) Evans; and lifetime friend Patti (Dan Oriti) Neill-Henry. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brother Skip (Lila) Hoyt and her sister Donna. A daughter, Cheryl Jean Berry, son, Walter Lee Massie and three grandchildren, John, Jenny and Austin preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Curtis Dale Massie and wife, Teresa and Bruce Edward Massie and wife, Sandy both of Gatewood; five daughters, Doris Christine Robertson and husband, Victor of Magnolia, TX Marilyn Kay Cordell of Champion Oaks, TX, Lea Ann Burdette of Fayetteville, Connie Renee Williams and husband, Matt of Pax and Beverly Lynn Couch and husband, Shay of Beckwith; four sisters, Judith Gayle Bolen, Kathy Ann Scarbro, Lana Marie Holland and Zetta Jane Bowyer and one brother, Roger Morton Bernath. An Aunt Audie Jean Spangler of Fayetteville; goddaughter, Bonnie Donnally of Fayetteville; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren also survives her. She was born May 15, 1958 in Fayette County, a daughter of Alice Hughes Tincher of Fayetteville and the late Eddie Massie. Mrs. Berry was a homemaker and a member of the Gatewood Salem Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Massie. Survivors include, her husband Robert L.
