Massie, 79, of Lower Salem, died Monday afternoon, Oct. 28, 2002, at The Arbors of Marietta. Surviving are her husband, James H. Massie; two sons, Randall E. (Linda) Massie and James D. (Cheryl) Massie; two brothers, Roy Adkins and Harley (Nancy) Adkins; three sisters, Glenna (Charles) Tincher, Betty (Duane) Schneider and Hilda (Morris) Nutter; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Creighton Ridge Cemetery with VFW Post 4721 and American Legion Post 641 conducting graveside veterans services. on October 30, 2002.3
