Blair loved being on the James or New River, canoeing with family and friends. He also loved restoring and riding his motorcycles, always having a current project in his garage. He also loved animals, especially dogs. Over the years he has adopted 4 rescued pit bulls. Blair was a team leader in network, format and large copiers for over 25 years with the Ricoh Company. He won awards for his expertise and work ethic. His boss, Anthony Fitzgerald said; “Blair was well respected and loved throughout the Ricoh Company, from the top down. He was the person everyone went to for advice and instruction including myself. There was never an issue he couldn’t solve. Blair was irreplaceable.” In addition to his parents he is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years; Deborah Helms Stone, sister; Vicki Harwell and her husband Joe, and their children; Joseph and Crispin Harwell, mother-in-law, Mildred Helms, sisters-in-law: Sheila Manning and her husband, Steve, Mitzi Maxey and her husband, Timmy and their children; Ryan and Lexi Maxey, his pit bull kids Hank and Xena.
