Craighead, of Hedgesville; daughters, Billie Crawford, of Falling Waters, Doneen Johnson, of Williamsport, Md., Diana Keyser, of Clear Spring, Md., and Donna Hinson, of Wilmington, N.C; sister, Betty Pemberton, of Beckley; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three faithful canine companions, Roxie, Bernie and Bently. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.3 He married Ruby Pike. Betty was proceeded in death by her husband John (Pete) Pemberton, her twin Brother George, and brothers Thomas and Donnie Craighead. Betty also lost her only daughter, Thelma (Lou) Showalter, her son, Billy Pemberton along with a granddaughter, a great grandchild and one great-great grandchild. Left to carry on her memory and love for life are her oldest son, Richard (Peewee) and wife Frances (Sissy) Pemberton of Lochgelly, WV, Willie and wife Rita Pemberton of Louisville, KY and John (Rick) and wife Debbie Pemberton of Oak Hill, WV. 11 Loving Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren along with all their friends and extended family that also considered her their “Granny Betty”. The family wants to thank her adopted family at Mary’s Garden for the loving care they extended to her the last couple of years. Betty always loved and enjoyed her life. She loved a good sale, a trip to anywhere, a banana split, sneaking a cigarette, a little gambling, but most of all she loved her family and all her babies (no matter how old they were)! She attended church with her granddaughter at Fellowship Memorial Baptist.
