He was 58. He was named principal of John Carrol in 1973 after three years on the staff in various capacities, including teacher, director of services and director of pupil personnel services and director of admissions. In 1960, he joined Bel Air Junior High School as a science and physical education teacher. In 1964, he was named head of the guidance department. The Dundalk native was a graduate of Dundalk High Towson State University. He also held a master's degree from the University of Maryland. In college, he was on te wrestling, lacrosse and socce teams and was inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame. He was wrestling coach at John Carroll and at Bel Air High School, where he also coached football. During summers in the 1960s and early 1970s, he was director of the Girls and Boys program at Sherwood Forest in Anne Arundel County. He served in the Air Force in the 1950s. He is survived by his wife, the former Sharon C. Shutt; two sons, Donald L. Sudbrink Jr. of Auburn, Ala., and Kurt S. Sudbrink of Bluff, Utah; a daughter, Kristen Anne Sudbrink of Towson; two stepsons, Daniel J. Luksik Salinas, Calif., and David J. Luksik of Towson; a stepdaughter, Susan M. Luksik of Katonah, N.Y; three brothers, J. W. F. Sudbbrink III of Washington, James W. Sudbrink of Tampa, Fla., and John J. Sudbrink of Mississippi; and three grandchildren. on July 31, 1994.6

Heidecker, 67, of Camp Hill, will be Friday He died Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, Hershey Medical Center. Born Aug. 12, 1935, in Paola, Kan. to the late Percy N. and Claribel Elliott Heidecker, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Camp Hill Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder. Lt. Col. Heidecker is survived his wife, Ida May Heidecker; two sons, Stacy D. of New Cumberland and Maj. Steven P. of Fort Polk, La; a sister, Karen K. Stacy of Overland Park, Kan; an aunt, Ruby Emmert of Paola, Kan; and five grandchildren. Burial with military will be in Indiantown National Cemetery. on January 22, 2003.4
