     Joseph Robert "Bob" Richard Joseph Robert Richard, 94, of Metamora formerly of Carsonville & Roseville, died Tuesday January 23, 2024. He was born December 11, 1929 in Hamtramck to parents Joseph and Victoria (Michlash) Richard. Joe proudly served his country in the United State Navy during the Korean War. While enlisted, he married his high school sweetheart Vera M. Payne on January 26, 1952 in Angola, IN. Joe received his bachelors from CMU, later his masters from EMU – which he used both as a teacher an athletic director for VanDyke Public Schools of Warren. He did enjoy numerous years as a football and wrestling coach; he was even inducted into the Michigan High School Coaches Hall of Fame in 1992. Mr. Richard was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church for many years. As well as membership with the VFW and American Legion. Joe treasured spending time with family, wood working, fishing and reading. Joe is survived by his wife: Vera Richard, children: Cheryl (Thomas) Morris, Connie Pacioni and Daniel Richard, grandchildren: Carly (& Jon), Chris (& Crystal), Chloe, Cara, Joe, great-grandchildren: Noam, Jackson, Emmie and sister: Josephine Delicato. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Cass, Clem, Ray, Anthony, Leonard, Gertrude, Sally and Bertha as well as his aforementioned parents. Joe's wife, Vera, died only 43 days after Joe.4 He was born on December 11, 1929 at Hamtramck, Wayne Co., Michigan.4 He married Vera Marie Payne, daughter of Harless Henry Payne and Lenora V. Kromm, on January 26, 1952 at Angola, Steuben Co., Indiana.1,2,3,4,5 Joseph Robert "Bob" Richard died on January 23, 2024 at Michigan at age 94.4

Ronald Payne, December 17, 1955 in Carsonville. Mrs. Payne was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Sandusky.
