     Angela Cartwright Angela Cartwright Scruggs, Dec 27, 1965 - Dec 29, 2024. Angela Cartwright Scruggs, 59, of Lawrenceville, VA, went to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, December 29, 2024. She was born in Roberson County, NC to the late James and Elizabeth Cartwright. Angela was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She had a laugh like no other and enjoyed painting Gods beautiful landscapes. Her heart was always happiest around her precious children and grandchildren and she had an everlasting love for the beach. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Wayne Elliott Scruggs; two sons, James (Lacey) Scruggs and Jacob Scruggs; two sisters, Rhoda Alonge and Colleen Markovich; a brother, Kevin Cartwright; two grandchildren, Daniel and Allison; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.² She was born on December 27, 1965 at Robeson Co., North Carolina.^1,2 As of August 7, 1982,her married name was Scruggs.¹ She married Wayne Elliott Scruggs, son of James Elliott Scruggs and Lynn Dabney Spicer, on August 7, 1982 at Portsmouth, Virginia.^1,2 Angela Cartwright died on December 29, 2024 at Virginia at age 59.²
