The daughter of the late George and Ethel A. Burton, she was also preceded in death by brothers, Esker, Harvey and Harless Burton and sister, Effie Altizer. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Blendia and Roger Cole, of Narrows; sisters, Helen Nowlin and Marlene DeLung; a very dear friend, Donald Hamilton and Little Bo; also many special nieces and nephews. Interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. on May 18, 2008.²

The son to the late Cloris and Mae Cole, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Cole and his brother, Ardie Cole. He is survived by his wife, Blendia Cole; sons and daughter-in-law, Roger Ray and Julia Cole; and granddaughter, Kristen Cole; son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Debbie Cole; his stepmother, Joyce Cole; sisters, Sharon Markham, Debbie and husband, Danny, Andrew; Kathy and Paul Hinkle; and his brother, Harold Hamilton. He is also survived by his special aunt and uncle, Janie and Sam Morgan; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He leaves behind three precious four legged babies, Shelly, Snowball and Patches. Interment will follow in Huffville Cemetery, Floyd. on January 29, 2012.⁴

     Michael Alan Burford Michael Alan Burford "Mike", age 47, of Wakeman passed away suddenly at his home on December 12, 2011. He was born on June 14, 1964 in Warren, Ohio. He attended school and resided in Elyria for many years, before moving to Wakeman in 1996. Mike enjoyed fishing and country music. He loved animals, especially his cats. Mike enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He worked as a machinist at Elyria Manufacturing and Diamond Products and also as a dispatcher for Triton Transport. He will be sadly missed by his mother Margaret, of Wakeman, father Zack Burford, of Hubbard, OH, sisters Patricia (Joe) Brown, of Wakeman, Susan (Dale) Konya, of Elyria, Joani (Brad) Haas, of Norwalk, brother Zack (Karen) Burford Jr., of Norwalk and many nieces and nephews.⁴ He was buried at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, Lorain Co., Ohio.³ He was born on June 14, 1964 at Warren, Trumbull Co., Ohio.^2,4 He died on December 12, 2011 at Wakeman, Huron Co., Ohio, at age 47.⁴

     James Edward Neal James E. “Jim” Neal, 58, of Parkersburg, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020, at his residence. He was born November 15, 1961, in Parkersburg, a son of David E. Neal of Parkersburg and the late Ann Burford Neal. Jim was an U.S. Air Force Veteran where he rose to rank of Sargent and was honorably discharged in 1985. He was a license general contractor, a master electrician and a property insurance adjuster in WV, OH and throughout the east coast. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling. In addition to his father, Jim is survived by his wife, Kitty Carney Neal; his son, Matthieu Neal (Katie) of Parkersburg; step-children, Lindsay Longacre (P.J.) of Parkersburg, Matthew Longacre (Rachael) of Laurel, MD and Sarah Longacre (Steve) of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Matthieu Neal II, Ethan Neal, Mckayla Griffen, Kolten Griffen, Alexis, Emma, Raylee and Chase; and his extended family. In addition to his mother, Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie.² He married Kitty Carney.^1,2 James Edward Neal was born on November 15, 1961 at Parkersburg, Wood Co., West Virginia.² He died on July 2, 2020 at Parkersburg, Wood Co., West Virginia, at age 58.²
