Rebecca Sue Eggleston Rebecca Sue Perkins (née Eggelston) of Vineland passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday afternoon July 14, 2023 at Cooper Hospital U.M.C. Camden, NJ after a brief illness. She was 79. Born in Roanoke, VA, she was the beloved wife of 61 years to John Paul Perkins, daughter of the late Dora Grace (Wimner) and Jesse Dillard Eggelston, sister of Jeanette Olive. She was preceded in death by her son Timothy B. Perkins in 2021. Rebecca was a resident of Roanoke, VA and moved to Vineland at the age of 15 where she met her husband John Paul. Rebecca was a 1962 graduate of Vineland High School and a graduate of the Vineland High Practical Nursing Program. She worked full time as a nurse for 20 years and up until retirement as a part time private home health care nurse. Rebecca's faith was central to her life. She was an active member at Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church and enjoyed participating in the hospitality ministries or any area where she was needed. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandma whose life revolved around caring for her family. Her home was warm and welcoming. She loved entertaining and always went above and beyond to make it special. Rebecca enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, reading and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Attending her grandchildren's music concerts, school activities and church events were an important priority to her. In addition to her husband John, Rebecca is survived by her daughter and son in law; Mitzi and Rich Shetzline of Richboro, PA; Sons & daughter in laws Daniel and Dianne Perkins of Vero Beach, FL, Michael and Melissa Perkins of Vineland, NJ, Daughter in law; Carole Perkins of New Ellington, SC, Grandchildren; R.J. Danny, Zachary, Bella, Logan, Brennan, Clive, Sarah and Leah as well as the extended Olive and Perkins family. Burial will follow in the Siloam Cemetery, Vineland, NJ.3 She was buried at Siloam Cemetery, 550 North Valley Avenue, Vineland, Cumberland Co., New Jersey.3 She was born on October 8, 1943 at Roanoke, Virginia.4 As of June, 1962,her married name was Perkins.2 She married John Paul Perkins in June, 1962 at Vineland, Cumberland Co., New Jersey.1,2,3 Rebecca Sue Eggleston died on July 14, 2023 at Camden, Camden Co., New Jersey, at age 79.3

Robin Ann Clough Robin Clough Powell, 62 of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on September 21, 2024, after a valiant fight with cancer. Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Carol “Cappi” Clough, and her father, L. Robert Clough, both her paternal and maternal grandparents, and her uncle, George Purcell. She leaves to cherish her memories to her daughters Jessica L. Powell and Lindsey E. Powell – who were her pride and joy – her husband Chris L. Powell, and her sister Catherine “Cat” A. Clough. Special and invaluable family friends include Mary Gill, Breslin Fletcher and Andrew Mowles, Lynne and Chris Linkous, and Kay Selman. Robin was born in Roanoke, Virginia, on December 5, 1961. She attended North Cross High School and Mary Baldwin College. She spent 39 years caring for others as a patient representative and medical social worker at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Robin would like to be remembered for her deep love of her family and how intensely proud she was of both of her daughters. Throughout her life, she loved adventures and travel, and she enjoyed scuba diving, basketball, and volleyball. She was an avid animal and nature lover, with a specific appreciation for manatees, hummingbirds, dragonflies, and feeding the squirrels and birds on the back porch. She had multiple beloved basset hounds throughout her life and held a special connection with the family’s three pet rats. She had a passion for arts and crafts and loved puzzles and playing board games. She delighted in going to yard sales, thrift stores, and antique stores. She relished spending time with friends and family, especially at El Rodeo, “the hill”.
