She was born September 19, 1921 in Union, West Virginia to the late Henry W. and Annie S. Wickline Weikle, and has lived in the Bellville area since 1956. She had worked as a cook and waitress for the V&M Restaurant in Bellville, and retired from Hi-Stat Manufacturing in Lexington. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church in Sarton, WV. She is survived by her daughter Lillie Payne of Bellville; three grandchildren and their spouses, Veronica L. & Harry Blake of Bellville, Douglas A. & Linda Payne of Hilliard, and Justine P. & Fred Johnson of Plymouth, WI; eight great-grandchildren, Ellison Hunt, Everette Hunt, Ellen Hunt, Justin Payne, Eric Payne, Joshua Johnson, Lisa Johnson and Eva Hunt; three sisters and a brother-in-law Sadie Dowdy and Zola Kirby, both of Union, WV, and Bessie & Tommy Kirby of Shippensburg, PA; four brothers and sisters-in-law Howard & Wanda Weikle of Union, WV, Lancy & Betty Weikle of Ontario, Ernest & Patty Weikle, and Billie & Roxanna Weikle, all of Bellville; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Dollie Weikle and a brother Walton Weikle. Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery. on December 19, 1998.3

Mr. Payne was a member of the Bellville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty Hill Payne; his mother, Viola of Union, W.Va; one son, Douglas of Marysville; two daughters, Veronica Hunt of Bellville and Justine Payne of Hilliard; one stepson, Michael Hill of Perrysville; two stepdaughters, Karen Hill of Beaverton, Ore., and Mrs. Rick (Teresa) Ramiriz of Mansfield; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth of Bellville; and three sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Donna) Parker of Union, W.Va., Mrs. George (Delores) Raines of Mansfield and Mrs. Mary Sue Wolfgang of Butler. Burial will be in Colonial Memorial Gardens near Lexington. on November 12, 1987.2

He was born October 30, 1957, in St. Paul, Minnesota, and was the son of James and Margy (Williamson) Blake. Lee is survived by his wife of 32 years, Veronica (Payne) Blake, whom he married on December 26, 1988. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and had many jobs over the years, including welding and truck driving. Lee attended the Grace Brethren Church in Galion. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Lee was a good husband and provider for his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Ellison Hunt of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Everette (Kristin) Hunt of Denham Springs, Louisiana; daughter Ellen (Brian) Auten of Galion; 13 grandchildren, Landon, Olivia, Sarai, Elias, Mara, Josiah, Wylan, Noah, Reuben, Benjamin, Adali, Jude and Ean; three sisters, Diane (Mike) Regnier of Dayton, Geri (Bill) BLAKE Bennett of Little Rock, Arkansas and Lisa (Kelli) Bosch of Clarksville, Tennessee; brother, James Blake; mother-in-law, Lillie Payne of Plymouth, Wisconsin; brother-in-law, Douglas (Linda) Payne of Hilllard, Ohio; sister-in-law, Justine (Fred) Johnson of Plymouth, Wisconsin and numerous nieces and nephews.
