Edmunds, 76,of North Canton, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, at Aultman Hospital. The son of the late George G. and Bernice (Lemon), he was born in Akron on Jan. 10, 1928. A 1945 graduate of Kenmore High School and a 1951 graduate of Kent State University, he was a member of the North Canton Elks 2028. A veteran of both the U.S. Army and Navy, he served during the Korean Conflict on the U.S.S. New Jersey. He was retired from Independent Drug Wholesale in Tallmadge and had previously worked for Kauffman Lattimer Drug Wholesale in Columbus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty (Willis); sons, Edwin and wife, Liz, of Canton, Matthew of Canton, Mark of North Canton, and David of San Francisco, Calif; grandchildren, Tim, Steven, Erin, Michael, Ashley, Jordan, Brad, and Samuel; brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Jean of Noble County, Ohio, and Gary and Judy of Newcomerstown. Interment at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. on October 13, 2004.²
