     Deric James Cook was buried at Mount Zion Cemetery, Lucas, Richland Co., Ohio.² His Social Security Number was 298-88-7943.⁴ He was born on February 13, 1982 at Mansfield, Richland Co., Ohio.^1,2,3,4 He died on April 30, 2011 at Mansfield, Richland Co., Ohio, at age 29.^2,3,4 He Deric Cook was raised on a farm. He loved being outside and exploring nature, and his inquisitive mind kept him busy working on engines, restoring trucks and four-wheeling. Always an active young man, Deric is now at rest as he passed away early Saturday morning April 30, 2011 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He was 29. Born February 13, 1982 in Mansfield to Ralph D. & Lisa (Clapper) Cook, he remained a lifelong area resident. He was graduated from Madison High vocational welding. He later program to earn the journeyman a sub-contractor with Tradesmen International. Physically strong, Deric earned four varsity letters in wrestling, traveled with the Ohio Team of Greco Roman Free Style Wrestling, and dabbled in Mixed Martial Arts. Though he liked to portray a daredevil, Deric was good hearted - full of compassion - and will be remembered for how much he loved his family and his easy-going personality. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lisa & Tony Morelli; his sister and brother-in-law, Heather & Ty Turner; and his father and stepmother, Ralph & Heidi Cook all of Mansfield; a son, Tristen J. Cook of Ashland; a daughter, of Ashland; a daughter, Alea Cook of Mansfield; stepbrothers and stepsister, Cody Stevens, Chelsi Smith and Gunnar Smith all of Mansfield; nieces and nephew, Colton, Trinity and Layla; his maternal grandmother, Patricia Clapper of Johnsville; paternal step-grandmother, Donna Cook of Lake Wales, FL; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. on May 4, 2011.²

     Sylvia Lee Huffman was buried at Campground Cemetery, Creamery, Monroe Co., West Virginia.² She Sylvia Huffman Poff, age 80, of Greenville WV Passed away peacefully on December 8th 2021 at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hinton WV. Sylvia was born in Creamery WV on January 1, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Orphia Huffman of Greenville WV. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 52 years Ernest Poff, her Daughter Pamela Capaldo of Ronceverte WV, a brother Charles Huffman of Mount Solon VA, brother-in-law James Neff of Fayetteville WV. She is survived by a son Richard Poff (Andrea Elek) of Morgantown WV, A sister Mary Neff of Fayetteville WV, a brother Larry Huffman, (Peggy Huffman) of Beckley WV, Sister-in-law Susan Huffman of Mount Solon VA, two grand-daughters Amanda Daniels (Channing Daniels) and Ashley Capaldo (Travis Wright) and six grand-children Lakyn, Tiana, Oaklen, Decan, Raylee, and Scarlet and many nieces and nephews. Sylvia spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was a devout Christian and was devoted to helping others. She served the elderly as a home health aide for many years. She also enjoyed volunteer work at the Greenbrier Valley Hospital. She loved spending time with her granddaughters and great-granddaughters. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery at Creamery, WV.² She was born on January 1, 1941 at Creamery, Monroe Co., West Virginia.^1,2 As of August 4, 1966,her married name was Poff.¹ She married Ernest Richardson Poff, son of Ira Melvin Weikle and Nannie Beatrice/Bryant Poff, on August 4, 1966 at Clifton Forge, Alleghany Co., Virginia.^1,3,2 Sylvia Lee Huffman died on December 8, 2021 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia, at age 80.²

     Pamela Ellen Poff Pamela Ellen Poff Capaldo of Ronceverte, WV passed away on March 22, 2021. Born June 24, 1967 in Covington, VA to Ernest and Sylvia Poff. Pam is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Poff. Devoted grandmother of Nicole Klukas, Patrick (Mabelle) Mack, Nicole (Timothy) Hughes, Matthew (Kara) Poff and Danielle Farrow. Great-grandmother of Madeline and Hunter Klukas, Shan and Athena Mack and Aurora Hughes. Dear sister of Tressie Thorson, the late Mitchell, Eugene, James and Arthur Shocky, Carrie Bryant and Willa Mae Haynes. Also many nieces and nephews.
