Survivors include two sons, Dale Browning of Crooked Creek and Larry (Sheri) Browning of St. Albans; two sisters, Erma Hanlon of Philadelphia, Pa., and Hope Queen of Florida; two grandchildren, Alan Browning and Jennifer Browning; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville with Rev. Tim Secrist officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the services Wednesday at the funeral home. Franklin, 89, of Salem, went home to be with her precious Lord on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, the Rev. Kenneth and Juanita Kingrea, the Rev. Richard and Renee Kingrea, both of Christiansburg; daughter, Shirley and Richard Cox, Catawba; sisters, Julia Kirkner, Frances and Billy Bower, Gladys and Terry Dickerson, all of Christiansburg; brother, Carl and Brenda Hungate, Floyd; 8 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild; as well as many nieces, nephews; and many special friends. Mother was well known for her strong Christian witness and desire to lift up those in need. She was a woman of prayer, inspiration, encouragement, and action who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held at noon on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Harbor of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2720 Roanoke Street, Christiansburg. Her sons will officiate the service. A private interment will follow. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013, at Harbor of Hope. on March 29, 2013.2

     Bishop Kenneth Ray Kingrea was buried at Appalachian Conference Cemetery (also know as Virginia Conference Pentecostal Holiness Cemetery), Dublin, Pulaski Co., Virginia.6 He was born on December 1, 1941 at Floyd Co., Virginia.4,6 He married Juanita Marcella Williams on July 29, 1960 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.7,5 Bishop Kenneth Ray Kingrea married Nita Martin circa 2017.6 Bishop Kenneth Ray Kingrea died on December 14, 2020 at Montgomery Co., Virginia, at age 79.6 He Bishop Kenneth Ray Kingrea, of Christiansburg, Virginia was welcomed into Heaven by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ during the early morning hours of Monday, December 14, 2020, while surrounded by his family. Born December 1, 1941 in Floyd, Va., he was the son of the late Hosea Hungate and Nina H. Franklin. In 1977, Bishop Kingrea was licensed and ordained as a minister in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) and was an active minister in the Appalachian Conference of the IPHC for over 40 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Juanita Marcella Kingrea; and his twin brother, Samuel Jay Kingrea. Left to cherish his memory are his three children, Towana Kingrea-Kitts of Christiansburg, Va., the Rev. Ray Kingrea and wife, Sandy of Lynchburg, Va., and the Rev. Brian Kingrea and wife Kay of Gaithersburg, Md; one sister, Shirley Cox and husband Richard of Catawba, Va; one brother, the Rev. Richard Kingrea and wife, Renee of Christiansburg, Va. He was the beloved grandfather to eight grandchildren, Bethany Creger, Hannah Venable (husband Michael), Andrew Kingrea (wife, Sydnah), Jessica Barbir (husband, Timothy), Dakota Kingrea, Zachary Kingrea (wife, Candice), Cheyenne Kingrea, and Tacoma Kingrea (wife, Chrissy); and great-grandfather to 10 great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Ezra, Willow, Anderson, Kennedy, Ruth, Cash, Carter, Laurel, and Aaron. He is also survived by his loving wife of three years, Nita Martin Kingrea, numerous nieces and nephews who he loved as his own, as well as many other relatives and close friends. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and current state-mandated restrictions, there will be no public viewing. A private funeral service will be held at Harbor of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church in Christiansburg, Va., with interment to follow at the Appalachian Conference Cemetery in Dublin, Va. on December 17, 2020.6
