Her hobbies were pitching horseshoes, sewing, card playing, cooking and most of all church work. Ann was proudly a Christian and a member of the Fayetteville Baptist Church for 60 some years where she served as choir director, music committee member and chair, Sunday School teacher, Awana Coach, and financial secretary. Ann was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Joel Conner, her parents Douglas and Ethel Lowe, brothers Berkley Lowe, Edward Lowe, Doug Lowe, and Rev. James Lowe. Rigney, Ridgeway and a nephew, Dr. Edward Fallin, Montpelier. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2000 at the Horne Funeral Chapel, conducted by Dr. Fred Austin, Rev. Leon Alley and Rev. Lane Spiegener, with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery. Flowers will be appreciated or memorial donations may be made to the Parsonage Building Fund of the Floyd Parish U. M.
