His love for family ran deeper than expressed, but those who loved him most, know the depth of his feelings for his family. He was survived by his best friend and loving mother, Colleen Moore; devoted stepfather, Marvin Moore; his brothers, Danny Moore and Darrell Moore; sister, Marlene Garman; and their families; and his children, Sheila Boyd (Robbie), Jason Cancino (Gena), Charlie Wimmer, Hanna Braelith (Roland), and Faith Wimmer. His legacy consists of nine grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; brother and sisters-in-law; aunts; uncles; cousins; friends; and special friend, Rifka Belkin.He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Wimmer and is survived by aunt, Doris Wimmer, of Norfolk; and uncle, Jimmy Wimmer, of Shawsville.A Celebration of his Life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Bethel Assembly of God on Red Lane in Salem, Va., with Pastor David Keaton officiating. on August 30, 2013.1

Epperley, United States Marine Corp and Fiancé Jessica Camper; daughter and son-in-law, Candia and David Cook, Pulaski; daughter, Brandy Meredith, Pulaski; granddaughter, Kaitlynn Cook; grandsons, Joshua Cook, Justin, Jordan, Jeremy Ferguson; sister and brother-in-law, Norma Jean and James Smith, Dublin; brothers, Wayne Epperley and Margaret Wright, Hiwassee, Roger Epperley, Pulaski; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Sheril Epperley, Pulaski; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 17 at 1:30 p.m. from the New Life Church of the Nazarene, S. Jefferson Avenue, Pulaski with the Rev. Desmond Barrett and Rev. Tim West officiating. He also leaves behind his two brothers, Roger Lee Epperley and Douglas Wayne Epperley; and one sister, Norma Jean Epperley-Smith. He shared a life-long friendship with his buddy, Robert Peoples. Cecil was devoted to his entire family. He was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and won numerous fishing tournaments. His fishing boat could often be found on Claytor Lake and Gatewood Reservoir. His occupation as an automotive technician gained him a reputation for excellent work and an impeccable reputation for honesty. Cecil was a kind, gentle man with a smile and a laugh that transcended many difficulties. His calm, unassuming manner was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He will be missed and his memory will be treasured in our hearts always. A memorial service will be held at New Life Church of the Nazarene on the corner of First Street and Jefferson Avenue Thursday, Aug. 4. Visitation will be at 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served in the church social hall after the service. on August 3, 2011.3
