Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Russell Terry at home; three sons, Walter and Elbert both of Daniels and Mackey of Earling; two daughters, Mrs. Alma Jones of Ravencliff and Mrs. Virginia Burkhead of Glen Burnie, Md; two brothers, John of Cedar Grove and Robert of Oakvale; four sisters, Mrs. Rosa Belle of Wheeling, Mrs. Mary Blankenship of North Carolina, Mrs. Laura Wells of Rhodell, Miss Opal Terry of Huntington; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Church of God at Sophia with Rev R. W. Clagg and Rev. James Compton in charge. Burial will be in the Mills Cemetery at Sophia. Pallbearers will be J. D. Delp, Gene Perdue, Elbert Mills, James Dixon and Harry Seymour. Friends may call at the Webb and Neal Funeral Home after 1 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church one hour before services. on February 15, 1967.6

The body will be taken from the Memorial Funeral Directory to the Church of God on Oliver Avenue Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Services will be conducted there at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. C. R. Callahan. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. on January 16, 1949.5

     Susan Lynn Wimmer Susan Lynn Wimmer passed away December 28, 2018, at Chippenham Hospital after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Wimmer, and her brother, David Wimmer. Sue is survived by her mother, Pauline Wimmer; her husband of 18 years, Joe Abbott; her sons, Justin Crenshaw (Jenny Neubert) and Mitchel Crenshaw. Also her sister, Pam Digges (Tom); her brother, Bill Wimmer (Brenda); nieces, Carrie Digges-Tolgyesi and Katie Wimmer; and nephew, Jason Digges. Ed Crenshaw, the father of her sons, also survives. Sue was a devoted mother and was excited about becoming a grandmother in the spring; her granddaughter will surely have an Angel on her shoulder. Susan managed several GNC stores in the area until her retirement in 2017. She was loving, friendly, funny, a good cook, a reader and a painter. Sue saw the beauty in all of Nature and loved all animals, particularly the neighborhood cats. She leaves a hole in our hearts that will never be filled.2 She was born on October 8, 1953 at Norfolk, Virginia.3,4 As of July 1, 1978,her married name was Crenshaw.3 She married Edward Henry "Ed" Crenshaw Jr. on July 1, 1978 at Richmond, Virginia.2,3 Susan Lynn Wimmer and Edward Henry "Ed" Crenshaw Jr. were divorced on October 18, 1999 at Chesterfield Co., Virginia.5 Susan Lynn Wimmer married Joseph Edward "Joe" Abbott on April 17, 2000 at Colonial Heights, Virginia.2,6,3 Susan Lynn Wimmer died on December 28, 2018 at Richmond, Virginia, at age 65.2
