     Nancy Jewell Davis Nancy Jewell Davis DeWease, 76, of Salem, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 8, 2021. She was born on March 29, 1945. She is the daughter of the late Otha Galen and Esther Payne Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Marvin Elwin DeWease, Sr. Nancy is survived by her sons, Marvin Elwin II and wife Angela of Evington, Va and Calvin Lee of the home; grandchildren, Jonathan DeWease, Kelsey Stone (Matt), Rachel Dolan, Erin Dolan; great grandsons, River and Reed Stone; and siblings, Martha Elizabeth Miller (Ernest), Galen Davis (Linda), Mary Juanita Smith, Leonard Davis (Kathy). Nancy owned and operated Nancy's Cleaning service. After retiring, she spent years with quilting and crafting. She was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. A graveside service will be conducted Friday November 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with the Pastor Roy Kanode officiating.2 She was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.2 She was born on March 29, 1945 at Wythe Co., Virginia.2,3 As of circa 1960,her married name was DeWease.1 She married Marvin Elwin DeWease, son of Alfred Jacob DeWease Sr. and Genevieve Martha "Geneva" Williams, circa 1960.1,2 Nancy Jewell Davis died on November 8, 2021 at Virginia at age 76.2

DeWease, 75, of Roanoke County, Va., went peacefully to her Heavenly home on Saturday, July 23, 2022, after a brief illness. She was born in Virginia on May 20, 1947, to her late parents, Francis J. and Agnes Craighead Bohn. Pam attended Northside High School. In 1965, Pam married the love of her life, Dale DeWease, and together they celebrated 57 wonderful years of marriage. Pam had an outgoing, vibrant personality, and was known for her laughter. She enjoyed going on trips and traveling with her husband. Pam liked doing hobbies at home such as scrapbooking, crocheting, coloring books, and reading. She loved animals, especially the family's dogs and cats, but Pam's love of animals also extended to the wildlife that frequented the family property. Pam and Dale enjoyed having their coffee while they watched for deer, bears, squirrels, birds, and any other wildlife that ventured into their backyard. Pam is survived by her husband, Dale DeWease; beloved cat, Annie; her sister, Marsha Conner; her devoted sister-in-law, Arleigh Boyd; special nephew, Sheldon Bogaz; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on July 26, 2022.2

He was a member of the Peters Creek Church of the Brethren. Harold is survived by his wife of 49 years, Muriel Dewease Turner; sister, Lucille Sharp and family; daughters, Carolyn Farris, Billie Reid and fiance, Bruce Campbell, Joyce Schneider and Marie Bliss and husband, David; and grandchildren, Carolyn Renee Wise, Jason Gwinn, Chris Gwinn, Holly Farris, Aaron Mayes, Jacob Mayes, Rachel Roberts, Hannah Widener, Levi Reed and Will Bliss. He has 16 great-grandchildren. Harold had a very close relationship with his brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Ogretta Bayer. Viewing at Lotz Salem Chapel will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2007. The funeral will take place at the Lotz Salem Chapel at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2007 officiated by Pastor Jack Lowe. After a graveside service at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, family and friends are invited to Peters Creek Church of the Brethren for a remembrance buffet. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Peters Creek Church of the Brethren or Salem Rescue Squad. on November 7, 2007.2

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Waynesboro, Pa., where she was a member of King's Daughters Sunday School class and Keenagers. She is survived by seven sons, John M. Cordell, Garry R. Cordell and Daniel L. Cordell, all of Greencastle, Larry J. Cordell of McConnellsburg, Pa., Stephen M. Cordell of Hagerstown, Timothy E. Cordell of Clear Spring, and James A. Cordell of Chambersburg, Pa; one daughter, Bonnie M. Yoder of Greencastle; two brothers, Stuart Dewease of Waynesboro, and Frederick Dewease of Florida; two sisters, JoAnn Caron of Burlington, N.C., and Janet Stone of Hagerstown; 21 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Douglas Dewease, Stanley Dewease, Lance Dewease, Lenwood Dewease, Lloyd Dewease and Carl Dewease; an infant sister; an infant granddaughter; and two infant great-grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grace Brethren Church, Waynesboro. The Rev. Roger K. Myers will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle, and at the church one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
