Bob was born in Guttenberg, Iowa, August 31, 1931, to the late Alva and Ivy Ingwersen. Bob served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1954. During that time he was stationed in Washington D.C., Idaho and the Philippines. Bob retired from General Electric in 1988 after 33 years of service. He was a loyal custodian for more than 48 years at Northview United Methodist Church. Bob was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and was an usher for more than 30 years. He also served as secretary of Williamson Road Masonic Lodge for many years. Bob was always a hard worker. Bob loved his garden, his beautiful roses and traveling all of his life. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Claude and Inez Epperly. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years as of April 8, Jeanette Ingwersen; his daughters and son-in-law, Kimberly Lynn Ingwersen of Roanoke, and Jean Marie Ingwersen Marx and Leonard Marx of Daytona Beach, Fla., and his dog Buddy. Also surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Duane Palmer; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Sue Ingwersen; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Tommy Hurt; 8 nephews, Duane Palmer, Jr., Brian Palmer, Rev. Tom Hurt, Brian, Michael, Jamie, Josh and Justin Hurt. He will be missed tremendously by his loving family. The family would like to express a special thank you to our very special friend and caregiver, Wayne Wright, and hospice nurse, Regina Harding. Internment with military honors will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on March 22, 2015.4

Don (better known to all his friends down through all of his years as Donnie) dedicated his life to singing and playing music praising his undying love for Jesus. Gospel bluegrass music was his passion and his great privilege to be able to share with many people as he travelled and sang and played with many different gospel groups. Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Brodie Tinsley; mother, Mahalia Ann Agee Tinsley; sister, Ruth Adams and grandson, Cody Conner. Surviving is his brother, Charlie Tinsley and sister, Patricia Steele; his wife of 24 years, Linda Hodges-Tinsley; his four children, Dennis Tinsley (Peggy), Susan Walters (C.W.), Michelle Conner (Richard Artutis) and Pamela Tinsley; four grandchildren, Faith Key (Scott), Hunter Walters, Chelsea and Chase Tinsley; one great grandson, Fabian Tinsley. Faye leaves behind, with saddened hearts, her husband of 59 years, Charlie Tinsley; her children, Laurie Carlisle (Todd), Melissa Tinsley, and Michael Tinsley; grandchildren, Todd "Andrew" Carlisle, Jr (Meredyth) and Summer Bierce (Rick); great-grandchildren, Carson, Jake, Riley, Carter, Wesley, Lucas; siblings, Betty and Calvin; and many other family and friends. As a couple, they established homes in Fayetteville, N.C., Bellevue, Neb., Williamsburg, Va., and Duck, N.C., to name a few. They moved to Destin, Fla., in January 1993 and made Destin their final destination. Wayne's favorite pastimes were wood working and refurbishing Volkswagen Bugs. He enjoyed fishing, gamble with his loving wife, and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. Wayne was preceded in death by both his parents and his loving wife, Charlie. He is survived by his two daughters, Tina Michelle Ringler, wife of Dale Ringler, of Niceville, and Wendy Renee Peters, of Destin; and his two grandchildren, Brittney Renee Ringler, and Bradley Scott Ringler. on September 25, 2010.7
