Establishing their home in Exeter in August of 1934, where Mr. Holaday was the Exeter High School Athletic Director and coach for many years before retirement in 1945 to go into ranching. In 1976 the gymnasium at Exeter Union High School was named in his honor. She was a member of the Exeter Baptist Church where she was active in choir work and the music department, for several years. She was a member of the A.O.A.I. an International Organist Association. A member of the Order of Eastern Star, Exeter-Visalia Chapter #13 where she served as organist. on January 10, 2004.¹
