Born on March 15th, 1939 in Raleigh County W.V. to the late James Albert Willis and Eva Lintecum Willis. Joe retired from GM in 1992 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1957-61. He was an avid golfer and known for taking care of his family. Joe was also preceded in death by his brothers, James Albert Willis JR., Chester Willis, and Jack Willis. Also by two sisters, Clara Porter and Nadine Acord. He is survived by his son, Jerry Willis, of Englewood, by his daughter, Lisa Coffin of Keller, Texas, his brother Dean Willis of Baltimore, Maryland, sisters Annette Smith of Waynesville, Carol Sue Dean of Michigan, Betty Bolen of Crab Orchard W.V., Rosemary O'Dell of Beckley W.V., Brenda Smith of Shady Spring, W.V., Ilene Boyd of Virginia, and Sharon Jones of North Carolina. He was a veteran with the United States Army and a member of the American Legion. Jackie loved to golf and enjoyed playing the guitar. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
